00:00I guess I love denim. It's all green. My name is Alison Bornstein and we are going to be talking
00:04about some green flags and red flags with denim. Skinny jeans are a green flag. I think it's all
00:10about the styling. I think with anything that feels like maybe it's a little like out or old,
00:16I think it's just all about how you style it, how you make it modern. So I think with skinny
00:20jeans,
00:20it's important to maybe style it with things that feel really modern. But I still think green flag.
00:26I like a little fun, like a little bedazzle, especially with jeans. Jeans are so utilitarian
00:32and so classic, but I think it's fun to add like a little sparkle, a little something.
00:37Green flag. Again, I like the contrast. I really like a pair of like stiff denim or even like a
00:44kind of wide leg denim and then maybe like skirt over that's a little softer, maybe like a lace.
00:49Like I really like the juxtaposition of hard and soft. So green. Obviously green flag. Denim on denim
00:55is my very favorite. My favorite tip with denim on denim is to break it up. So like if you're
00:59wearing a denim shirt and jeans, I like the idea of putting like a white t-shirt under or a
01:05tank top
01:05even just to get like a little bit of contrast at the color. I like adding a belt, just something
01:11to
01:11kind of add another color in there, but green flag.
