00:19collection and by Jessica I mean Jessica Alba she decided to show me her skincare
00:25routine because I'm always talking about how amazing her skin is

00:46I think Jessica's here hi guys so I am here with Jessica Alba we've got our robes
00:53on we're all comfy and I thought that would be fun if you kind of walked me
00:58through your skincare routine because you have amazing skin thank you so do you
01:04I'm wearing a lot of it a lot of it right now so first things first we started
01:10with taking off all of my makeup I was wearing a bit of it I love doing wipes
01:15and then at the end of it seeing how much makeup is on your face I know it's so
01:19satisfying right I also like to use these you know before I go to the gym
01:24a gym is another good place to have wipes yeah what are some things that you
01:27always bring to the gym I always bring wipes magic balm and I am that person
01:34that can't live without concealer same because I have like black under my eyes
01:38are you a morning gym person or morning morning oh that is not morning I don't
01:45want to be a morning gym person but I kind of feel like if I don't get it done
01:48in the morning I'll never get it done makeup off all right so now we're gonna
01:53use I love the contract sponge what's so nice about this is it's sort of gently
01:59exfoliates you can put a couple of pumps now this is our new sal acid cleanser
02:06it's a cell acid that's made derived from wintergreen I feel so good I've
02:11actually used contract funds we just before but this one's actually the
02:14softest one I've ever used it feels so good the cleanser is really nice it
02:18doesn't feel stripping I love that it's not like foaming too much I'm wondering
02:23what a typical like Sunday night routine like looks like for you and your family
02:28Sunday night routine my husband loves making tacos they're beef tacos yeah he
02:37like makes me cut everything exactly how he wants them to I've tried to like throw
02:42in bell peppers and stuff he's like you're ruining my tacos and I'm like all
02:45right cash then we moved on to the toner I love toner my skin agrees with it very
02:52well put it onto a little cotton pad swept it over made sure that my face was
02:56totally free of makeup I think there's a lot of confusion even about what toner is
03:01yeah when I just feel like it's a very refreshing step and I really liked
03:06especially when I do work a lot or when I am having a little more breakouts I do
03:12love to use a toner I think my skin kind of addicted to it we also found out some
03:17cool little tidbits about her family she told me that the whole family likes to
03:21watch Chopped Junior and I got really excited I love Chopped Junior it's so good so
03:27it makes me feel bad about my cooking ability I mean it's unreal how do they
03:32know how to do those combinations I mean it's it's insane they're just like yeah
03:35never made ice cream before but I'll try it or like the deep fryers how they just
03:39like put things and they're like so tiny and they don't burn and so they're so
03:44good I burn all of my arms every time so we had a little moment there then we
03:50moved on to the retinol night serum which is kind of more like a moisturizer than
03:56it is a serum the texture itself is a little bit more creamy it feels really
03:59hydrating on the face I'm so excited that you have a retinol in this line
04:03because I'm obsessed with retinol for those of you don't know it's type of
04:06vitamin A that helps speed up cellular turnover so it's really great for wrinkles
04:16this friend was also very gentle a lot of retinols they can be over drying so
04:21make sure with your retinol that you're only using it at night yes because you are
04:24going to have a little bit more sensitive skin and you want to make sure
04:28that you have a really great sunscreen for daytime use even in the winter so
04:33hundred percent always wear sunscreen always wear sunscreen Jessica said you
04:37can use it on its own actually and not top it off with any moisturizer but we
04:41did go in with moisturizer after and when do you use this to use it at night as
04:45well so you can use this with the retinol you can use it on days that you
04:50don't want to use the retinol if you want to skip a couple of days or you use
04:55it in the morning prior to your sunscreen I love the texture I know we just took
05:00makeup off but I feel like this would layer really well well under makeup exactly
05:05finally we used the spot treatment probably one of my favorites I like to
05:10have a spot treatment in pretty much every single bag I have on my bedside
05:15table in my living room so you can use this at night in the morning during the
05:22day and it's also fast-acting it also is completely transparent yes you're not
05:28walking around with like pink dots oh yeah drying lotion stuff and like that's
