Using just a single button, you can wrap a button-down around your torso to give your plain shirt a completely different vibe. This works best on oversized, too-big oxford shirts, but you can make it work with slimmer-fit ones with a longer torso. Refinery29 style director Connie Wang shows you how in the video above!

00:00You wear your Oxford shirt all the time, and by now you're probably really bored of wearing
00:03it just like this, so I've got a new trick to teach you how to wear your Oxford shirt
00:07in an entirely new way that doesn't add on anything crazy.
00:11So this styling trick requires two things.
00:13One, a very, very oversized Oxford shirt that has to be at least a foot longer than your
00:17natural waist.
00:18And two, a really ridiculously high-waisted pair of pants that covers your belly button,
00:22like so.
00:23What you want to do is unbutton your shirt, except for the button at your sternum.
00:27After it's unbuttoned, take the button side of the shirt, wrap it to your other hip and
00:31tuck it in, and then you take the other side and starting from the outside edge, tuck it
00:35in slowly to preserve a nice little drape.
00:38Finish the tuck, and then voila!
