00:19It has a really nice bronze gold thread.
00:22But you can totally do these outfits
00:23with a black turtleneck or a thin one.
00:25I really like ones that are ribbed.
00:27This one has texture too, so it works
00:28to add a little bit of dimension to the outfit.
00:30I'm going to start with something a little bit feminine.
00:32I'm going to go over to the dresses section
00:34and look for something I can layer on top.
00:36I'm going to go for the white.
00:37And I think a really nice way to finish off this look

00:46So this first look is super mod and somewhat 60s,
00:49and I love it because it plays up the texture of the turtleneck
00:51and makes the dress into a jumper.
00:53It works especially well if the top piece is solid
00:56and you pair it with high knee boots.

01:02I'm going to move to something a little bit more fierce,
01:05like a suit.
01:05Since this is gold with a little black undertone,
01:08I'm going to go for a black pant and black blazer.
01:11And I'm going to pair it with a heel.
01:17So a turtleneck under a blazer gives off a specific 80s vibe,
01:21but it can still be polished and fresh for a night out
01:24or for a business meeting.
01:25And the best part is you don't have to wear a coat.
01:27I love the way this gold pops off the black.
01:32So for the last outfit, I'm going to try to make a turtleneck work for evening wear.
01:35It's a bit of a challenge, but I'm going to do it by pairing it under a statement piece,
01:39this red jumpsuit, and I'll keep on the strappy high heels that I have on right now.
01:47So I really love the colors of the maroon jumpsuit with the gold turtleneck.
01:51I think the proportions here are slightly off, and to be honest,
01:54I would prefer it if the jumpsuit was wide leg.
01:57But I'd pair it with a clutch, and I think it's a really great styling tip
02:00to stay warm in an evening event.
02:05Turtlenecks don't have to be throwback items.
