00:05at the YouTube Fashion Showcase, and I was blown away.
00:10It's cold, it's winter, and knits are an essential.
00:14And I saw a lot of amazing knits from Maria.
00:17She's got these dresses with some cutouts on the shoulder.
00:21You can either put your arms through the armholes, or you can even tie it on the chest.
00:25Another designer that had a lot of versatility in her pieces was Caroline.
00:29She had this beautiful white dress, but it could also be a top or a skirt.
00:35It was just a really great piece that you can really wear for any occasion.
00:39I think fashion is supposed to be fun, and one thing about Michelle Kim's collection that
00:43really made me excited was the whimsical prints.
00:45She had this crazy, awesome piece that had a bunch of dogs on it.
00:50I'm normally a cat person, but that dress I would totally rock.
00:54Maria had these amazing bell-bottoms, part of her collection.
00:57They were completely knit, and I would just wear that with a white crop top and a big summer hat.
01:04I think it's just something that's easy breezy and totally Californian.
01:08I thought it was really inspiring to see women creating clothes for other women.
01:12I just think it's such an empowering thing to do, and I'm so excited to see these designs translate into
01:18everyday women.
