Consider this take on the French braid a very deliberate switcheroo.
This style, the Dutch braid, is your classic French braid turned inside out. We'll admit it: More than a couple times, we've (accidentally) worn a shirt backwards, only to find we actually like it better with the tag in the front.

The finished look is way less "Oops!" and way more "How did you do that?" But, in fact, the process is the same one we mastered in middle school, only reversed. We know, we know: Don't try to re-invent the wheel. But this sleek, sophisticated 'do is proof that shaking up even the most classic of styles can yield totally chic results.

00:20The sweetest little thing that I've ever seen
00:24I walked from the porch in a blinding rage
00:29I wasn't straight-edge, but I hadn't come of age
00:33It was a beach town with a myth, I jumped in my car
00:38I left to there, but I didn't get far
00:42I felt like a creeper as I drove back around
00:46I checked my beeper, but it didn't make a sound
00:51The sweetest little thing that I've ever seen
00:55With your eyes played over this little crystal clear
00:59Frozen in time, a lack of veneer
01:20There was snow on the sand
01:24That made my feet feel weird
01:29I rubbed the back of my hand
01:33On the slack of my beard
