00:05Hey guys I'm Tara for Finery29 and I'm Bethany. Today we're going to show you how to recreate
00:10the pastel eye that we loved on the Peter Somme Spring Show. To start this look we're
00:15going to create our own custom eyeshadow. So we're going to mix a powder shadow in a green
00:22color with a little clear lip gloss. This is going to give a really modern sheer finish to the eye.
00:31After we've mixed the paste on our hand we can dab it on with our fingers. Depending on your eye
00:38shape
00:38and where your crease falls on your eye make sure you can see it when your eyes are open but
00:44obviously
00:44it shouldn't go all the way up to your eyebrows. You can adjust the wash of the color by adding
00:50a
00:50little more lip gloss if you want it to be more sheer. Once the color is basically on there you
00:56can just dab with a clean finger around the edge just smoothing it out a little bit but don't worry
01:03it doesn't have to be perfect. To give the eye a little more dimension and just a little brightness
01:08we're going to take a slightly lighter shade of shadow and dab it in the center of the eye towards
01:15the lashes right above your pupil if you look straight into the mirror. For the final step
01:20we're just going to add a bit of a monochromatic touch by adding green mascara to the tip of the
01:26eyelashes. We started with a coat of black mascara so this is just a little extra to pump up the
01:32look.
01:34So we've seen a lot of color on the lips in past seasons. Here's an updated way to wear color
01:39on
01:39your face for spring.
