00:21Our first story, Feenovation's project spotlight featuring a CSR impact assessment in Rajasthan.
00:28In today's Feenovation project spotlight, we feature an impact assessment conducted for a
00:33leading automotive tyre manufacturer in Rajasthan. Feenovation evaluated three CSR interventions
00:39covering mobile medical units, sanitation infrastructure and women empowerment programs
00:44in Raj Samand district. The assessment measured improvements in healthcare accessibility,
00:50hygiene awareness, drinking water availability and livelihood opportunities for local communities.
00:55By delivering evidence-based impact assessments, Feenovation continues to help
01:00corporates measure outcomes, strengthen CSR effectiveness and maximize long-term social
01:06impact. Moving ahead to our next story, Vedanta launches 1,000 Nandaghars in Bihar under CSR
01:12initiative. Vedanta, through its flagship CSR initiative Nandaghar, has signed an MOU with
01:18Bihar's Department of Women and Child Development to transform 1,000 Aanganwardis into modern Nandaghars
01:25across the state. The initiative is expected to benefit nearly 1 lakh children, women and community
01:31members through pre-school education, nutrition support, primary healthcare, smart learning,
01:37safe drinking water, hygienic sanitation and women-focused skill development. With this partnership,
01:42Bihar becomes the 18th state to join the Nandaghar movement, one of India's largest public-private
01:48partnerships for Aanganwadi transformation. The initiative also supports the government of
01:53India's Saksham Aanganwadi and Portion 2.0 mission, strengthening early childhood development and
02:00women's empowerment in rural communities. Moving ahead to our next story, environmental CSR still
02:05needs greater attention. A new report by Sattva Consulting highlights that despite increasing awareness
02:11around climate action, only 8.4% of India's total CSR spending during FY 2023-24 was allocated towards
02:19environmental initiatives. The report also revealed that Kirti of India's 50 most climate-vulnerable
02:25districts received only 1% of environmental CSR funding over the past three years. While investments
02:32in water management, renewable energy and biodiversity have increased, experts believe environmental
02:37sustainability still require significantly greater corporate investment to meet India's long-term
02:43climate goals. Our next story, Reliance tops India's CSR rankings. In another important update,
02:50Reliance Industries has emerged as India's highest CSR spender during FY 2024-25, investing 1,309 crore
02:58in social development initiatives. It is followed by HDFC Bank with 1,039 crore rupees and Tata Consultancy
03:07Services with 949 crore rupees. Together, India's top 10 CSR contributors invested over 7,123 crore rupees,
03:17accounting for nearly 17% of the country's total CSR expenditure, further demonstrating the leadership
03:23role of large corporates in driving sustainable development. Moving to our final story, Chennai leads
03:29Tamil Nadu's CSR investments. During FY 2024-25, Tamil Nadu recorded 2,738 crore rupees in CSR spending,
03:39with Chennai alone accounting for nearly 1,311 crore rupees, almost half of the state's total CSR
03:46investments. The funds have been directed towards education, healthcare, skill development, water
03:51conservation, sanitation and animal welfare initiatives. Government data also showed that
03:57Tamil Nadu's CSR expenditure has steadily increased over the past three years, reflecting growing corporate
04:03participation in community development across the state. On that note, we conclude today's bulletin.
