00:21Our first story. Nagarkol Corporation uses CSR funds for urban beautification and green
00:27cover. Nagarkol Corporation has used CSR funds to beautify public spaces across the city
00:33through colourful murals and plantation drives. Murals have been created in areas including
00:38Vetturni Madam and Vadasari, while rosy trumpet saplings are being planted along roads and in
00:44schools. The initiative aims to improve public spaces, discourage wall posters and increase
00:49the city's green cover. Moving ahead to our next story. Piyush Goyal calls on innovators to build
00:55solutions for social impact commerce and industry. Minister Piyush Goyal has called on startups and
01:01innovators to develop affordable and sustainable solutions for social challenges. Speaking at
01:07the TOI Social Impact Summit, he highlighted opportunities for Indian startups in areas such
01:12as lake cleaning and other community needs. He also noted that mandatory CSR has brought
01:18additional funding into the social sector, while innovation can make impact more scalable
01:23and sustainable. Moving ahead to our next story. Feenovation conducts skill needs assessment in
01:29Gujarat. Feenovation partnered with a skill development institute to conduct a need assessment
01:34study in Mandvi, Gujarat, where a donor was planning to set up a plant. The study assessed the existing
01:41skill levels of local youth and their preparedness and acceptability towards skill-based training.
01:46It also helped identify potential employment and entrepreneurial opportunities, along with the skill
01:52requirements of the local population. The Feenovation M.E.L. team conducted the assessment using primary and
01:58secondary research, providing insights to support the donor's skill development planning.
02:03Our next story. Coal Ministry launches first sector-wide CSR framework for Indian coal companies.
02:10The Ministry of Coal and Coal India Limited have launched a comprehensive CSR framework for Indian
02:16coal companies. Prepared by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, the framework aims to make CSR
02:22more structured, transparent and outcome-oriented, especially around mining communities.
02:28Meanwhile, Coal India's healthcare programs have supported over 1,050 bone marrow transplants
02:34and more than 1,500 corrective heart surgeries, benefiting children from economically weaker families.

02:43Rotary Club of Bombay North announces support for healthcare and education.
02:47The Rotary Club of Bombay North has announced financial support for healthcare and education
02:52projects across India. The support includes heart and eye surgeries in Navi, Mumbai and Dehradun,
02:59along with a new school block in Jammu and Kashmir. The projects will be supported through global grant
03:04and CSR initiatives, helping expand access to healthcare and education.
