00:00Here's a little stat for you. This is from Katie Sharp last night.
00:03Okay.
00:04After his fifth inning strikeout tonight, Anthony Volpe is now one for 20.
00:08There you go.
00:08Batting 50.
00:10Has nine strikeouts with two outs and runners in scoring position this season.
00:14And he's swinging the pitches out of the strike zone.
00:16The other thing, too, is how bad was Paul Goldschmidt there for a while?
00:20Yeah.
00:21What were his numbers like? They all go through it eventually.
00:24Yes, it is true.
00:26And because of all the injuries that they're dealing with.
00:29Well, I think they'll, in the second half of the season, Volpe is not going to be the shortstop.
00:35I don't know if they're going to, I don't think they're calling up Lombard.
00:38I really don't think that's happening.
00:39He just came back from an injury.
00:41But I think they're either going to make a trade or they're going to go with Caballero.
00:45Caballero would be the guy.
00:46But the problem is, is when you have injuries and Caballero can play multiple positions, you know, and Anthony Volpe
00:53can't.
00:54But then all of a sudden, that basically shoehorns Aaron Boone into playing Volpe where he's playing.
01:00Yeah.
01:01You know what they call that?
01:02A shoehorn spot.
01:03What?
01:03I don't know.
01:05Positional versatility.
01:06Oh, for Caballero.
01:08Yeah.
01:08They love that.
01:08Positional versatility.
01:10Well, who doesn't?
01:11You know what they call them?
