00:00One of Central London's oldest public spaces is reopening after a year-long transformation.
00:06Grosvenor Square has been redesigned with more plants, trees and seating to create a
00:11greener place for visitors in the West End. The project includes more than 150,000 plants,
00:1840 new trees and two wetland areas. Those behind the scheme say that the changes will help the
00:24square adapt to warmer temperatures and wetter weather. The new landscape also aims to provide
00:29a calmer space for people who are working, living and spending time nearby. The square's traditional
00:36layout has been replaced with a more biodiverse design, while keeping links to its historic character too.
