00:05I'm inspired by those subtle things that you have to be up close and personal with a guitar

00:10to see. Knowing that, you know, I'm working with Timber and I'm doing a similar thing to what my

00:17family did back in Scotland, continuing on that building legacy and that craftsmanship,

00:23I want people to know about our history. When a brand like Balvini come along and ask to collaborate

00:31and you see all the same ideals and pursuing that perfection as well, it makes perfect sense.

00:40Form and function go hand in hand. For me, it's about pushing myself to my ultimate craftsmanship.

00:49In using American Oak, we're trying to colour the sound much like the barrels colour the whiskey

00:54and give the whiskey a tone and a character. You've got to draw people in with what it looks

01:00like when it's hanging on the wall so that they'll pick it up, but when they pick it up,

01:04it's got to feel amazing, just as amazing as it looks. Music brings people together,

01:11whiskey certainly brings people together. There is a real excitement to see it played

01:17by the person we've built it for. The Balvini is as good as it gets, so I wanted to build

01:23as good as we get. It's certainly all about a legacy and the pursuit of that perfection,

01:29I want to make sure that at the end, it's something I can look back on and say, yeah,

01:33it was worth it.
