00:11So I'm here in Sydney at the Warringham Mall to build a massive two and a half meter tall LEGO
00:16Death Star.
00:18There is a grand total of eight LEGO Master Builders in the entire world and we all work out of
00:24Enfield, Connecticut.
00:25We actually get paid to play with LEGO for a living. So we are the ones that design, build and
00:29create all the large scale sculptures like you see at a LEGO Land Park or right behind me here with
00:36the LEGO Death Stars.
00:39Essentially a LEGO Master Builder is an artist. We just happen to sculpt with LEGO bricks rather than clay or
00:45wood.
00:46In high school always have been very much into how things work, how things come apart, how things are built.
00:52Really into building with wood, working with wood. And I would build furniture for myself.
00:57People would ask for furniture. I'd build furniture for them as well.
01:00My father and I, he helped out. We built a 17-foot rowboat. So that was one of the things
01:06that we did together, which was a lot of fun.
01:10Do I have the best job in the world? I like to think I do. I absolutely love what I
01:15do.
01:16I get to travel the world, meet cool people and building really awesome LEGO creations. So I can't complain.
