00:21guys that work in bottle shops can then you know direct you to that and then you can start learning
00:26about it you can start learning what goes best with other things and then you start individualizing
00:31each one of those wines across the spectrum of that particular variety when i was just starting
00:36to learn about wine i didn't know enough about it and i you know i had like three different guys

00:42would help me at the it was a place called sam's and i learned that one of the guys really

00:49my palate well and that was the guy who i knew what days he worked when i would need to

00:55and when he worked and he helped me those first couple of years gain the first part of the
01:00knowledge base that i needed ultimately to move on to my own exploration that's a great point to raise
01:05because i feel like one of the big misconceptions when it comes to wine much like whiskey is that age
