A new hub to support families caught between three state and territory child protection agencies in the npy lands, is being trialled in Alice Springs. 'Ngura kutju' which means 'one place, is helping indigenous families in the tri-state region navigate the different child welfare agencies of each jurisdiction.

00:07it's hard for Anangnu and Yanangnu to connect with child protection services.
00:19As well as distance and language barriers, families must navigate three separate child welfare agencies,
00:26each with their own laws, family records and contact numbers.
00:38Five years ago, the NPY Women's Council met with each of the child protection departments,
00:44signing a memorandum of understanding to work towards a better system.
00:48Now, they're testing a part of the solution.
00:56The Trial Tri-State Child Protection Hub, based in Alice Springs,
