00:04question that the community poses like where are the parents what are the
00:07parents doing to police their own children's behavior I mean isn't that a
00:11reasonable question to ask?
00:13ACT policing is not here to actually tell the parents what they should do.
00:18ACT policing are here to support the parents in relation to what their children are up to
00:23and we will provide any support that we can.
00:26However our primary role is the safety and welfare of the whole community not just the parents
00:31and the children.
00:32So it is the retail workers, it's the elderly, it's the road users, it's the right person
00:37ACT policing has a zero tolerance to any social barrier.
00:42So it is all back to the safety of the community so we will take a zero tolerance approach.
00:47We will be anywhere, anytime and we will enforce the rule of the law and people can call the court
00:53where we need to.
00:53Where we don't need to we have other mechanisms between them.
00:57And I can say that my officers, myself, pretty much everyone that works at Cavanagh Station or the other stations
01:04and in the background of ACT policing, we are all members of this community as well.
01:09So we do like engaging with the younger people, the older people, no matter where we are.
01:13So it creates a trust in police and it also enables police to understand the community and goes to the
01:20social media of ACT.
01:21So that's the mission that we have to help them make sure we're going to make sure that they are
01:26looking to them.
