00:03It has no territorial ambitions over Lebanon.
00:07Israeli troops are in Lebanon because that territory was being used by Hezbollah
00:11to fire missiles and drones at Israeli families and threaten us with an invasion.
00:16Israel is saying it wants to give that territory back to a Lebanese state
00:20that is capable of maintaining a peaceful border.
00:22It won't give that territory back to Hezbollah, which means the IRGC.
00:27And that is why this framework that is being moderated and supervised by the Americans
00:32calls for an Israeli withdrawal contingent on the verifiable dismantlement of Hezbollah.
00:37It basically means if Hezbollah dismantles, Israel withdraws.
00:41If Hezbollah remains armed, it's not going to give that territory back to an Iranian proxy army.
00:46And so we hope now that Lebanon, after decades of foot dragging and doing nothing to combat Hezbollah,
00:52will finally dismantle this Iranian proxy army now that Iranian power is receding in the region
00:58and then its territory will be returned back to it and we can have a peaceful border.
