00:10I think the United States would push for that if they think it would get the overall deal to be
00:15more conciliatory toward our demands.
00:17The question is whether Israel will go along with it.
00:20I believe, and this is speculation, of course, that Israel would go along with a ceasefire against Iran.
00:26But the question is, Israel now believes that the government in Lebanon, even if they have the right intention, has
00:35no ability to control Hezbollah, either keep them north of the Latani River, which is required by Yemen resolution, and
00:43the ceasefire, or disarm them, which is also required by the ceasefire.
00:47So they are clearly looking to occupy the southern part of Lebanon to prevent them from being a threat to
00:56the northern part of Israel.
00:57And that's going to be something that the U.S. is going to have to work with them.
01:01I don't know if Iran will make that a requirement for a ceasefire in the overall war, epic fury, if
01:08you will, the operation against Iran.
01:11But we'll have to see, because it would certainly complicate the negotiations.
