00:05What has been your Odyssey, the mission that you fought the hardest when it comes to your career?
00:09Oh, man, just, you know, it's funny.
00:14My career's been funny where I'll have really good moments, right?
00:17And just keep trying to maintain the momentum and just do good work, you know?
00:24And no one's going to offer you a dream, so I'm over here creating them
00:27and working on directing and writing and producing and doing all the things.
00:31What was it like seeing the practical effects in some of the sequences,
00:36whether it's in the cave scene or the pig scene?
00:40I mean, some of the stuff in this movie is like, wow, they actually really went out of their way
00:43to do that.
00:46It was to see how they had the puppet in the cave and how they were going to make it
00:52work
00:52and then wondering how much CGI they're actually going to use
00:56and then watching the movie going like, oh, dang, like they, it worked.
01:01And there's not a ton of CGI and just the things that were very, very necessary.
01:05But the closing of, you know, the closing of the door, all of it was practical.
01:11It was, you know, the monsters in the sea and Celia and water being thrown on the ship,
01:20all practical, like it's all real.
01:22So, you know, there was really no acting.
01:24It was just like you're getting splashed in the face
01:26and you're watching people get torn off the ship.
01:28And it's, it was, it was really cool.
01:31I've never been part of something like that.
01:32And the rowing scenes, those must have been pretty physically challenging.
01:35They can be, but luckily they're only three minute mags.
01:37So like if, like if he decides to roll for three minutes,
01:40like all you have to do is three minutes.
01:41But a lot of times you could just, you know, was, some of the seas were very rough.
01:46So we got beat up a little bit.

01:51What would you like to see Nolan down next?
01:53Oh man.
01:53He's been flirting with us about a horror movie, man.
01:55That, that would be epic.
01:57I mean, there's a, there's a little hint of it in the Odyssey,
01:59but if I love, I'm like, I'm a big horror fan.
