00:00So, in this movie, Odysseus goes on a 10-year journey to get back to Ithaca.
00:03What's been your biggest odyssey, your biggest challenge that you've fought for in your career?
00:08Look, I think the thing about this work is, you know, you do, you spend a lot of time away
00:14from your family.
00:15It's the single hardest part of it.
00:17You know, my life consists of two things, my work and my family, and that's it.
00:21And I really try to give all to both, and I think you've got to be where you are while
00:25you're there.
00:26But when I'm away, when I'm working, it is quite hard to be away from them, miss things.
00:32But, you know, I really do believe that we're a team.
00:34I really believe that we're all in it together, and we all support and help each other in so many
00:38different ways.
00:38But that's the toughest part.
00:40You've got a great team here.
00:41You, Tom, and Zendaya, both in the biggest blockbusters of the summer, this and Spider-Man.
00:47What a cool coincidence.
00:48What's that like to kind of share that movie with you?
00:50Great.
00:50Look, I've known Tom since he was 17.
00:52You know, we did our audition tapes together for Spider-Man Punisher in Ireland.
00:57I couldn't be more in awe of him, more proud of him, to witness him growing up and becoming the
01:03man he is, the movie star that he is.
01:05I love that I got to get to know Zendaya a little bit.
01:08I love their relationship.
01:09I love seeing it.
01:10Beyond all the movie star stuff, beyond all the success that that guy has, the fact that he has that
01:15kind of relationship and that kind of support,
01:17and that he loves as hard as he does, it makes me so happy.
01:21I'm just so proud of him and happy for him.
01:22Our cover story tomorrow is about the box office.
01:25It talks about how 2026 will be the first year since pre-pandemic we'll make $10 billion at the domestic
01:30box office.
01:31We're back.
01:31Movies are back.
01:32Why do you think it's happening now?
01:36Listen, all I can say is for this film here, we're giving the space, the breath, the money, the scope.
01:42We're giving everything to a singular auteur filmmaker.
01:45You trust in Nolan.
01:46You have to trust in him.
01:47He got everything he wanted.
01:50He's somebody that just demands fidelity and deserves it.
01:54And, look, that's always been the name of the game in this business.
01:57You've got to trust the director.
01:59Last quick question for you.
02:00He's done Batman.
02:01He's done The Odyssey.
02:02What would you want to see Chris adapt next?
02:04Oh, I'm not even going to begin to entertain.
02:06Whatever he's doing, you know, I'm signing up.
02:10I'll be there or I'll be the first guy in line to watch it.
