Without warning, a seagull dives in from above and snatches the ice cream in one swift move before flying away. The stunned victim is left empty-handed as laughter erupts behind the camera.
The amusing footage was shared online and the perfectly timed theft was caught entirely on video, capturing the bird's bold raid and the priceless reaction that followed.
Maria said: "I was filming my friend eating an ice cream in Étretat, France, when a seagull suddenly flew over and stole it. Luckily, I caught the whole thing on camera."
