In a startling incident captured on video, a sea lion expresses its ire towards a seagull trying to steal its food. Filmmaker Isaac Navarrete recounts, "My family had just wrapped up crab fishing and we were tossing leftover bait to the sea lion. I thought it would be great to film for Instagram." He continued, "As I recorded, my brother threw a piece of bait farther out to test the sea lion's speed. Suddenly, a seagull swooped in to grab the food but was viciously attacked; the sea lion seized the bird by its head and dragged it underwater." The footage reveals the sea lion resurfacing and violently shaking the bird, resulting in a gruesome outcome. The sea lion then abandoned the bird's body and resumed swimming beneath the pier.
