00:11His name is Jordan Brown, a 36-year-old from California who was detained by the Saharashtra
00:17Seema Bull near Sonali border in Uttar Pradesh while allegedly attempting to cross into Nepal
00:21without valid travel documents.
00:23Brown said he served in the US Navy and Special Forces for nearly six years before leaving
00:28military service.
00:29He also told investigators that he had travelled to nearly 70 countries.
00:33His account, however, has raised several red flags.
00:36According to Brown, he travelled to Thailand on a tourist visa where he allegedly lost his
00:40passport.
00:41He then claimed he reached Sri Lanka by sea before entering India through a sea route in
00:46November 2025, after which he lived in Goa for several months.
00:50In another version of his statement, Brown claimed he had arrived in India after travelling from
00:54Bali before making his way from Goa to Bengaluru, then Lucknow, Gorakhpur, and a foreign country.
