An intense political clash has erupted between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the opposition over the planned public impeachment of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Addressing a gathering in Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the opposition of deliberately spreading misinformation and rumours, including shortages of fertilisers, to defame the government and spread anarchy. Union Home Minister Amit Shah challenged opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav to debate electoral concerns and the Special Intensive Revision process on the floor of Parliament during a special session instead of casting doubt on constitutional bodies. Meanwhile, Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi and the INDIA bloc accused the government and poll authorities of orchestrating vote chori and disenfranchising voters ahead of their planned rally at Ramlila Maidan. On India First, political party spokespersons and analysts debated the legality and precedent of mock parliamentary proceedings, political accountability, and the credibility of constitutional institutions.

00:00Hello and welcome, you're watching India First. I'm Gaurav Savant.
00:03There's now an all-out war between the Congress and the BJP
00:06over what the Congress calls as public impeachment
00:09of the Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar
00:11to be held in the National Capital tomorrow.
00:14It was scheduled for today, has been postponed for tomorrow.
00:17Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accused the Congress
00:19of trying to spread anarchy in the country
00:21by deliberately spreading misinformation.
00:25Union Home Minister Amit Shah,
00:27he's challenged the Congress and the Samajwadi Party
00:30to a debate on the floor of the House
00:33if they're so sure of their facts.
00:36Prime Minister Narendra Modi was speaking in Gujarat
00:39as he launched a sharp attack on the opposition,
00:41accusing the opposition of spreading rumours,
00:45including about fertilisers and gas shortage,
00:48to defame him, even if it meant creating difficulties
00:51for people in the country by creating an uncertain environment.
00:56The Prime Minister said his government protected the farmers
01:00from a global surge in fertiliser prices
01:03during the Russia-Ukraine war and the US-Iran war.
01:07He didn't refer specifically to the wars,
01:09but to the uncertain environment.
01:11The Prime Minister also gave a clarion call for national unity.
01:15He said every Indian, especially the youth,
01:18need to come together,
01:20strengthen the resolve of Ek Bharat, Sresh Bharat.
01:24The Prime Minister said India's rapid growth
01:27is bringing new hope not just to the country but to the world
01:30and that this moment is for all to move forward together
01:34as one nation, one people.
01:37With National Unity Day being observed on the 31st of October,
01:41Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to citizens
01:43to participate in the run for unity
01:46and pay tributes to Sardar Vallabhai Patel,
01:50the Iron Man of India,
01:52Independent India's first Home Minister.
01:55So the Prime Minister's message is very clear.
01:58India's strength lies in the unity of this country,
02:02diversity and collective resolve
02:05to build a developed nation of Iksit Bharat by 2047.
02:09The opposition, on the other hand,
02:11led by Rahul Gandhi,
02:12is taking the battle to the streets
02:15on the issue of vote chori.
02:17The leader of opposition continues to raise
02:19the alleged vote theft issue,
02:22insisting that the mandate of the people
02:25was being stolen to benefit Prime Minister Narendra Modi
02:28and Home Minister Amit Shah.
02:31He called on the opposition to unite
02:33for the November 1 rally at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan.
02:37The opposition bloc is projecting a united front
02:40ahead of the November 1 rally at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan.
02:44Opposition leaders insist they're fighting
02:46for the rights of voters of this country
02:49and challenging what they allege
02:52is vote chori at the behest of the government.
02:55In fact, the Congress is going ahead
02:56with what it calls is public impeachment of the CEC,
03:01the Chief Election Commissioner, Gyanesh Kumar.
03:02The BJP has called it mock parliament,
03:06mock impeachment,
03:07making a mockery of the system.
03:10Home Minister Amit Shah,
03:11he challenged the opposition.
03:13He said, words to the effect,
03:15if Rahul Gandhi and Achilles Yadav
03:17have concerns about the electoral process,
03:20why not debate the issue
03:21on the floor of the House in parliament?
03:24Amit Shah says the BJP is ready for a discussion
03:26in a special session of parliament,
03:28accusing the opposition of blaming the umpire
03:32instead of accepting electoral defeats.
03:36The BJP has also defended the election commission.
03:38Union Health Minister J.P. Nada,
03:41he says India's poll body
03:43is actually acclaimed world over.
03:46He accused the opposition
03:47of maligning constitutional bodies in India,
03:50questioning the credibility
03:52of India's electoral process
03:54only when the opposition loses.
03:56When they win, they gladly accept
03:59whether it's the post of a chief minister
04:01or leader of opposition
04:03or any other post.
04:05The BJP has gone a step further.
04:07They've proposed mobilization.
04:09They've called this political stunt.
04:11They've accused Rahul Gandhi
04:12of attempting to create chaos.
04:15The opposition insists,
04:16no, it's a fight for electoral accountability.
04:21Now, in Delhi,
04:22ahead of that November 1 rally,
04:24the Delhi Drug Traders Association,
04:27they've written a letter
04:28to the leader of opposition, Rahul Gandhi,
04:30urging him to postpone the November 1 rally
04:33till after the festival season.
04:35The association says repeated demonstrations
04:37and protests are hurting
04:40traders, shopkeepers,
04:42even street vendors
04:43because the festive season
04:45and wedding season is on.
04:47As political temperatures soar,
04:49the big question,
04:50are allegations of Votchori
04:52backed by evidence?
04:53And is the opposition willing
04:55to take this fight
04:56to the floor of the House
04:58in Parliament?
04:59We'll get you
04:59all aspects of the story,
05:01but first,
05:02let's get you
05:03the war of words
05:04between top political leaders
05:05in the country.
05:12We'll get you
05:14the war of words
05:17in the country.
05:18We'll get you
05:24the war of words
05:35in the country.
05:36I want to see the problem in the country.
05:40In the country, there is a problem in the country.
05:45When the country is in the country,
05:49they are happy.
05:50They have grown up.
05:53They are afraid of food for food.
05:58They are not able to get food.
05:59They are artificial.
06:01They are artificial.
06:02Their plan was in the country,
06:06so that they will not be able to get food.
06:14In the world,
06:18the world of Greece,
06:19a new hope for the whole world.
06:22In this case,
06:25we will be able to get food.
06:31We will be able to get food.
06:34we will be able to get food.
06:40We will be able to get food.
07:16I will be able to get food.
07:19The Home Minister is trying his best to stop people from coming in today.
07:58The Home Minister is trying his best to stop people from coming in today's day.
08:19The Home Minister is trying his best to stop people from coming in today's day.
09:09The Home Minister is trying his best to stop people from coming in today's day.
09:18The Home Minister is trying his best to stop people from coming in today's day.
09:39So the opposition has also repeatedly claimed there is undeclared emergency in the country and they are not being allowed
09:45to protest.
09:46Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiran Rajiju has now put out a video taking the battle into the opposition camp.
09:54Kiran Rajiju shared a 2011 statement of Kapil Sibal then Union Law Minister who had argued that protests, the protesters
10:02have a right but they can't just protest anywhere, wherever they want.
10:05They cannot just go blocking roads because the rights of those who want to carry out their job also have
10:12to be protected.
10:13So Kiran Rajiju now is using Kapil Sibal's words to challenge the opposition's position today asking their leaders to listen
10:22to their own political guru and their legal guru.
10:25Listen in.
10:35The right to protest does not meet the right to protest at a place of your choice.
10:42There is no right to protest at a place of your choice.
11:13So is there merit in the claim that the opposition is trying to spread N.R.
11:16Iraqi or Afratrafri through misinformation to discredit the government?
11:20What does the opposition hope to achieve through a mock parliament and mock impeachment or a public impeachment as the
11:25Congress puts it?
11:26And will they take up the Home Minister's challenge to debate it on the floor of the House?
11:29Joining me on India First is Surubhi Hodegere, spokesperson of the BJP, Dolly Sharma's national spokesperson of the Congress.
11:36Professor Sangeet Ragi is professor of political science at the Delhi University.
11:40He joins us on the show as does Ashutosh, author and political analyst.
11:43Surubhi, may I ask, begin by asking you, how can the opposition be accused of spreading anarchy or misinformation?
11:50They're raising very critical issues that directly impact the people, ma'am.
11:56Gaur, since the vote-chori campaign began, the definition of vote-chori in itself has morphed and, you know, changed
12:02and without any sort of logical conclusion.
12:04You said that there was a clean, the voter rolls were not clean.
12:08All right, let's look into it.
12:10The constituency in Bengaluru was discussed.
12:12Madhya Pura, we said, let's look into it.
12:14Many voters in one house.
12:15We want clean rolls.
12:17All of us want clean rolls.
12:18When we started doing the exercise, the SIR exercise, contrasting claims from across different parts of the country,
12:26Congress leaders in Karnataka saying that we welcome the SIR, we will implement it thoroughly.
12:29And then Rahul Gandhi coming up and saying that there are issues, then a pressure group comes into the play.
12:35They talk about, you know, Bangladesh-type ideals and protests.
12:39They talk about a lot of different things.
12:41Mr. Rahul Gandhi leads a rally and disrupts the Supreme Court, goes with Neha Bora from the left, who has
12:48made some controversial statements.
12:49The reason we're asking for, you know, this clarity on what is it that they actually stand for,
12:54that is precisely why we're saying, let's debate this in Parliament.
12:57Let's have a discussion in Parliament.
12:59Let's put the facts and the matter on the table.
13:01You cannot, you cannot claim to represent people's views when you are on the street calling for anarchy, for regime
13:09change.
13:10Let's have this discussion in Parliament.
13:12Okay, ma'am, that's a grave charge.
13:12There's a grave charge.
13:14The opposition also represents the people of our country.
13:16But Dolly Sharma respond, the opposition wants anarchy.
13:20The Prime Minister said that they spread misinformation, including on aspects like availability or lack of it of fertilizers.
13:28You know, opposition is fear-mongering to show that the government is not working.
13:34Gaurav, I have few questions to ask.
13:37I mean, tell me in 2012, when they all were protesting, grazing so many issues, like 2G, coal, scam, and
13:47so many things which are invalid today.
13:49You know, the courts have given, you know, the result in favor of us, the Congress Party.
13:56You tell me what they were doing.
13:59When Prime Minister tweeted, then in 2012, that, you know, sabko sambati de bhagwan and I'm going to join the
14:06protest tomorrow.
14:07What was that?
14:08I think BJP wants an opposition that remains silent.
14:12Unfortunately for them, Rahul Gandhiji refuses to remain silent.
14:16When we see discrepancies in Peelibheet, when we see an election commissioner's office, you know, in Chandigarh sitting and manipulating
14:25the votes, you know, crossing the votes in front of the camera.
14:29And when we wanted records from the ECI, they were not giving the records.
14:34Right.
14:35You cannot call every inconvenient question propaganda and every demand for accountability and attack on democracy.
14:42You know, they're talking about Bangladesh.
14:44Why did they get Sheikh Hasina in India?
14:46Why did?
14:48I live in Ghaziabad.
14:50You know, the aircraft landed at Hinden Airport.
14:54And she was roaming here in the, you know, malls in Ghaziabad.
14:58Who gave them this permission?
15:00I think you are, what are you doing?
15:03You are just making, you know, a mockery of this democracy.
15:07The voter is the owner of democracy, not the prime minister.
15:11And certainly not the BJP.
15:14So, I think whatever we are raising are very, very valid questions.
15:19So, are you open to the idea of debating it in parliament?
15:22Are you open to the idea of debating it in parliament?
15:24See, we are always ready to debate in the parliament.
15:28But I feel BJP does not understand the meaning of parliament.
15:31Because when you stop the mic of the opposition leaders, when whatever you want to be discussed, you discuss.
15:38And whatever opposition wants to be discussed, you does not want to discuss.
15:42It cannot be your convenience all the time.
15:45They should know the meaning of accountability.
15:47Fair enough.
15:48Fair enough.
15:49Before I bring in Surabhi to respond, I want to bring in Ashutosh.
15:52Ashutosh, when the prime minister raised the issue of opposition, fear-mongering on the issue of fertilizers.
15:59Global South leaders, not just, you know, people in India.
16:04Even global South leaders have appreciated India's role in de-risking during conflict.
16:09You remember the 4F, the food, fuel, fertilizer funds.
16:13India was helping not just our people, but global South leaders, they said.
16:17Merit in the prime minister saying opposition is misleading the people to benefit from the chaos and crisis, sir?
16:25See, Gaurav, let me tell you what is fear-mongering and what is anarchy and what is chaos.
16:33I'll take you back to 1974.
16:36You know, what the RSS and the Jansang then supported?
16:39When JP openly said that the army and the police should not follow the orders of the government.
16:47That was treason.
16:49That was a call to overthrow the government.
16:55Okay.
16:55Has, if today, if the same call is made by Rahul Gandhi or any leader, can you imagine what will
17:03happen to him or them?
17:04Okay.
17:05So, the party which has supported Jeprakast Narayan, which was basically asking army to overthrow the government,
17:13then the Jansang was happy with that.
17:15Then the RSS was happy with that.
17:16Now, today, if there is a peaceful democratic movement, you call them anarchy in the chaos.
17:22I can understand that the Congress is spreading anarchy and chaos.
17:27But what is Nitin Nabeen is doing at 6 o'clock in the night, in the evening, in Chandni Chowk?
17:33What the Amit Shah will do in Karnal?
17:36And what the Himanta Vishwa Sarma will do in Himachal Pradesh?
17:42Are they not disturbing the public order?
17:45Are they not disturbing the road traffic and everything?
17:48Professor Sangeet Ragi, the government wants a meek, submissive opposition.
17:53And the opposition is anything but meek and submissive.
17:57And now they have numbers.
17:58You heard Rahul Gandhi.
18:00You heard Derek O'Brien.
18:01And Derek O'Brien listed the people who are out.
18:05It's a big show of strength against the Narendra Modi government, Professor Ragi.
18:10I think that the former editor of a channel doesn't understand the distinction between Padhyatra and street protest.
18:21He must make the distinction.
18:24He must understand the distinction very clearly.
18:27Second, Janadalat doesn't happen to be the part of or in the lexicon of the constitutional vocabulary.
18:36But yes, it is in the vocabulary of the Naxals who fight the Indian estate.
18:44Rahul Gandhi is highly influenced by them, highly motivated by them.
18:51Secondly, thirdly, Rahul Gandhi, there has been acquisition from the opposition that Rahul Gandhi is not mature enough to lead
19:03the Congress party.
19:04I earlier used to discount it, that shut kind of allegations should not be made against an opposition leader.
19:13But, you know, the student at the undergraduate level organized mock parliament.
19:20Rahul Gandhi is still in that phase of immaturity.
19:24I don't know.
19:24Last point that I wish to make.
19:28Vote jury is nothing but a poor narrative to cover or a design to cover or hide the political incompetency.
19:39Because you cannot fight...
19:41Three points you've raised, but one by one, Dolly Sharma, Dolly Sharma quickly...
19:46That's the last thing, the last thing, the second...
19:48Sir, I'll come back to you.
19:49I'll come back to you.
19:49So, let's keep this conversational.
19:50Dolly Sharma, Rahul Gandhi is influenced, according to Professor Aagi, by the left or ultra-left.
19:58He says, you know, Naxals you would do Janadalat.
20:01CPI ML would carry out these kangaroo courts and kangaroo court punishments.
20:06That's what Rahul Gandhi wants to do with CEC Gyanesh Kumar.
20:09What's the point of this mock parliament and mock impeachment?
20:13If you want to do it, do it in parliament, as the Home Minister says.
20:16Mock parliament is to, you know, make mockery of Indian democracy.
20:22Okay, Dolly Sharma wants to respond.
20:24Yes, ma'am.
20:24Can I say, when Rahul Gandhi is raising the issues of unemployment, he is raising the issues of Indian youths.
20:32When Rahul Gandhi is raising the voice of Ankita Bhandari's parents, he is raising the voice of the women of
20:40this country.
20:41When Rahul Gandhi is wanting to, you know, speak about the farmers, when he speaks about the MSP, he speaks
20:50about the farmers of this nation.
20:52I think BJP has always worked against this country.
20:56Now, the recent example is inviting Pakistan, you know, after Pahlgaon.
21:01So, they are giving proofs, calling Bangladeshis here, inviting Pakistan here.
21:06And then, you know, Hindi mein bolte hain, Gaurav ji ki do chehre hotte hain.
21:10Humare gaon mein kehte hain ki dumahi, jis ka ek moon aage, ek moon piche.
21:13So, I think, you know, Bharatiya Janata Party has those two faces.
21:18To address the nation, they have one face and act is another.
21:22You know, a man is known by the word he keeps.
21:25Action speaks louder than words.
21:27So, Bharatiya Janata Party's actions kuch aure hotte hain.
21:30And words kuch aure hotte hain.
21:31Word ke de hain, Rashtrawad.
21:33Lekin, karteye, they take action against the youth of this country.
21:36They take actions against the women of this country.
21:38They take actions against, you know, you see, when we speak about price rise.
21:42Today, they don't see price rise in India.
21:45Fair enough.
21:45They don't see price rise in India.
21:46They don't see price rise in India.
21:48They see dollar, you know, gearing up against the rupee.
21:51Can I please speak?
21:52My name has been called.
21:53Thank you so much.
21:54I find it almost amusing that every single point that you have made, whether it's about
21:58you're calling us and saying that we speak one thing, do another thing.
22:02Here in Karnataka, Mr. K.N. Rajana was oust from ministerial position because he questioned
22:09vote chori of Rahul Gandhi.
22:10Here in Karnataka, just yesterday, a minister, Satish Jarkioli of your government, came out
22:16and said, we support the SIR.
22:18Just today, in the state that I am in, in the state ruled by your party, milk prices have
22:24gone up and farmers have, you know, there's been a whole price rise that has been happening.
22:28Please, look, entire country when you speak about something.
22:31Coming back to the issue at hand, Gaurav, we are saying that come have this discussion
22:35in parliament.
22:36When you say that Rahul Gandhi is raising this issue, what is he raising?
22:40He is not allowing the Supreme Court to function.
22:42He does not want to acknowledge that courts have a mandate to discuss, deliberate.
22:46He does not respect constitutional authority.
22:49Go after every single institution on the streets, but don't have a discussion in parliament.
22:54That is what Mr. Rahul Gandhi has come to.
22:56So, that's a grave charge.
22:57Ashutosh, do you agree?
22:58We want a strong opposition.
23:00We want to have deliberation.
23:01It is only the country that benefits if we have a strong opposition.
23:05But Rahul Gandhi refuses to be that because election after election after election, the
23:09country has told him that he does not, he is not in that place.
23:12He is not deserving of being in that place.
23:14That is the problem he has.
23:15Okay, fair enough.
23:16Ashutosh, would you agree with this, with this assessment?
23:19You know, Professor Sangeet Ragi says this, this is CPI ML kind of tactics.
23:24They would carry out kangaroo court and janadalat and they would punish people.
23:28Rahul Gandhi wants to do just the same under influence of far left people that, that he's
23:34carrying out these politics, sir.
23:36Thankfully, it is not the Hindu Mahasabat kind of a tactics.
23:40Thankfully.
23:41See, Abhi, the BJP spokesperson are talking about somebody in Karnataka.
23:46I'll just quote one person from Madhipur, the former chief minister of Madhipur, N.
23:50Virendra Singh.
23:51You know what he's saying?
23:52He's saying the BJP leaders have, have, have, BJP leaders have created riots in Madhipur
23:59so that they can unseat him.
24:02Just the statement has come in.
24:05Now, how will you take these words seriously?
24:07The former chief minister of Madhipur is saying that the BJP leaders have created riots to
24:12unseat him.
24:13Now, the issue, issue is very simple.
24:15Now, Amit Shah is talking about that, that he's ready to discuss SIR in the, in the parliament.
24:20When the parliament was in session, the BJP did not agree.
24:24The opposition was, was demanding on a daily basis that we want to discuss SIR.
24:28We want to discuss the, the conduct of the election commission.
24:31And you know then what the government said?
24:33The government said that the election commission is a constitutional body.
24:37We can't discuss him in the parliament.
24:38Now, what has happened in the last three months?
24:41That the government has taken a somersault, has taken a U-turn.
24:44So if, if three months back, if the government was not ready to discuss the, the, the, the,
24:49the, the constitutional body, discuss constitutional bodies conduct in the parliament.
24:54Now, what has changed?
24:56Obviously, the government is now as today.
24:57What has changed?
24:58The opposition has repeatedly raised this issue.
25:01The government often is accused, or the BJP is accused of hiding behind, saying,
25:06you're not raising it through the right way.
25:08Do, follow the right procedure.
25:10EC is an independent body.
25:12The matter is subjudice.
25:13Opposition says BJP is running away from the topic, sir.
25:17I, again, wish to tell my friend and former editor of a new channel that discussing the
25:25constitutional authorities is a different point.
25:30And discussing the SIR per se is a different issue.
25:34You need to make distinction between the two.
25:37You cannot discuss the conduct of a constitutional authority which holds the power equivalent to
25:43a judge of a supreme court.
25:44So, mind it, do you ever discuss the conduct of a judge until and unless there is impeachment
25:51proceedings initiated against the judge, you don't discuss the personal conduct of.
25:56So, let me make a distinction between discussing the SIR.
26:00Government never has said that we are not going to discuss SIR.
26:04It can be discussed.
26:05There is no problem in discussing the SIR.
26:09The point is the Rahul Gandhi and his party.
26:13How many BLA they appointed in West Bengal?
26:18How many BLA they appointed in Bihar?
26:21Because they don't have the cadres.
26:23They don't have the followers.
26:25They don't have the BLA at all.
26:27They cannot have the people to manage their booth at all.
26:32The party which has completely failed, who has less than 1% vote in Bihar and in Bengal,
26:382% is talking about vote-chori.
26:42Even if my brother, you have a ballot, then you will have a vote-chori.
26:47Again, that's why I am saying it is just a design.
26:49Ashutosh, quickly respond before I bring in Dolly and Surabhi into this conversation.
26:54Ashutosh, respond.
26:55See, my dear friend, my dear friend, my dear friend, Sangeet Raghi has forgotten the results
27:03in Maharashtra.
27:05A few years back, the BJP had a bumper victory because of the EVM.
27:10Now, when the ballot paper, the BJP has lost the plot.
27:13Now, the BJP has lost the plot.
27:153-2.
27:15And they lost in where the Nitin Ghatkari was winning for the last 20 years, more than
27:2120 years, when Devan Fadnamis is the constituency of Devan Fadnamis, where RSS headquarter is
27:27there.
27:27And in their own headquarter, the RSS could not save, the Devan Fadnamis could not save,
27:32the Nitin Ghatkari could not save, the BJP lost.
27:34And now the BJP is blaming, the BJP is blaming Shiv Sena Shinde and the Shinde is blaming
27:42BJP.
27:43So, within...
27:45Just imagine.
27:46Quickly respond, quickly respond, sir, Professor Raghi, because I have only one minute left
27:49on the show.
27:49Quickly respond, Dr. Raghi.
27:51Professor.
27:52You know, Gaurav, the journalists have...
27:56I'm not saying all the journalists, but Asutos type journalists have selective amnesia.
28:00My friend Asutos hai is highly, you know, influenced by or impacted by the selective amnesia.
28:10He's talking about Nagpur, but he's not talking about Bank, he's not talking about Karnataka.
28:16The strongman of the Karnataka has been defeated on the Karnataka turf.
28:20Okay.
28:20The Congress party lost four seats.
28:22But you know, on this mock parliament, Dolly Sharma, I want to take you back.
28:27I want to take you back.
28:28Now, Congress is organizing this Jan impeachment or people's impeachment or mock parliament.
28:34You know, Dolly Sharma, if I take you back to 2010, Congress was in power.
28:39However, opposition carried out a mock parliament in parliament.
28:43Incidentally, speaker that time was Meera Kumar.
28:45She hit out at this mock parliament, saying it shows irreverence to the parliament.
28:50In 2026, she is going to be presiding over one such mock parliament herself.
28:55Does this not show blatant double standards, ma'am?
28:59Gaurav ji, not double standards, actually.
29:02When you want to show this ruling party that how the parliament functions, I think this is
29:08the best way to do.
29:09They should know what is the meaning of accountability.
29:11Whether it is Pahlgaon, whether it is any incident happening in the country, there is no accountability.
29:18During Congress's rule, we took resignations of the home minister.
29:23You tell me how many incidents of terrorist attack has happened.
29:27Delhi, the capital, was attacked after Pahlgaon.
29:30After Pahlgaon.
29:32Before that, Pulwama.
29:33You tell me where are inquiries.
29:35You tell me who is accountable.
29:38You will not deny Danga.
29:40By the same logic, Surubhi, you know, if Meera Kumar was wrong, calling it irreverent then
29:45and presiding over it now, similarly, the BJP is mocking this.
29:50When BJP was in opposition, it did a mock parliament.
29:52In fact, they did it in the chamber, you know, in 2010.
29:56So if they could do it, if Congress is doing it now, why is BJP upset about it?
30:00Why mock parliament?
30:01We're inviting them to have a discussion on the floor of the house.
30:03Let's have this conversation there.
30:05The Congress is really lacking ideas on how to, you know, stay relevant.
30:10Because election after election, the people have given them a mandate that they're unable
30:14to accept.
30:14And first, you come up to the EVMs.
30:16Can I please speak?
30:18Your election after election, when you are unable to accept the mandate, ma'am, we lose
30:22elections too.
30:23Ashutosh ji might not remember.
30:24Tamil Nadu, we lost on EVMs itself.
30:26It's not as if elections have not been lost by the BJP in the recent past.
30:29But we don't go crying victim.
30:31We accept the mandate.
30:32We go to the drawing board.
30:33We go back to the people.
30:35If you have the courage, go back to the people.
30:37The people have absolutely said that we do not trust in the leadership of Rahul Gandhi.
30:42We do not trust the Congress.
30:43That is why you are in this situation.
30:46You cannot cherry pick.
30:47I would like to respond.
30:49You know, ultimately it is...
30:5010 seconds.
30:5010 seconds.
30:51Okay, Ashutosh 10 seconds and then Dolly Sharma 10 seconds.
30:54But precisely 10 seconds.
30:55I just want to remind the BJP spokesman, the BJP has a history of crying horse after losing
31:02election.
31:03In 1971, in 1971, Balraj Madhok, Balraj Madhok, we have to stay on the current topic, Dolly
31:14Sharma quickly.
31:14Dolly Sharma quickly.
31:16Gaurav ji.
31:18I have just 30 seconds.
31:19Dolly Sharma.
31:19I have a video which I was, you know, showing MP from Dharampuri, MP from Nizamabad, Dharampuri,
31:40Arvind, what is he saying?
31:41He's saying, car per daalo, kisi per daalo, aayega to modi.
31:45When we saw a...
31:48I'm challenged in a court of law.
31:50I'm challenged in a court of law.
31:52You should be...
31:52I'm still trust in the BJP.
31:54They are just...
31:54Absolutely not.
31:55You know, every election by election, they are winning you to vote.
31:59And Yanish Kumar is the head of this vote, Chori.
32:02And we want to...
32:03Have Yanish Kumar became CC in 2025?
32:06Yanish Kumar had the crisis discussion in the floor of the house, have it with the people
32:09watching.
32:10Please, do not throw shots in the air without actually discussing what needs to be discussed.
32:14We have shown the video, I have shown the video, I have made the MP, and I think the entire
32:21country has seen the mayor to make a statement and say not to sue the mayor, his father, people
32:27have lost trust in you.
32:29Mr. Kari is taking the time and again due to vote, Chori, and Yanish Kumar has to resign
32:34because he is...
32:35You are not sitting in a kangaroo court, this is not the country, we cannot allow you to
32:40decide who's going to resign or not.
32:42If you want to do it, do it through the mandate of the people, not doing your choice.
32:46Okay, okay, so clearly charged atmosphere.
32:50I've run out of time on this part of the show, but this is a story we'll be tracking very
32:53closely
32:54because both sides aren't willing to cede an inch.
32:57Of course, in India, when there's a dispute, there are only two ways to resolve it.
33:01Either the court of the people of India or courts of law, and we'll be tracking the story
33:06at both places.
