00:00while i was in california i was pretty well known because i had won several gold medals and i met
00:06this young girl who was a theater major and she asked me to audition with her for the fall play
00:10and so i said sure why not well what i didn't know at the same time is that they were
00:14auditioning for
00:15a movie of the week and so they were using the same audition time periods for both projects
00:19and i got cast in both and from the movie of the week i ended up getting extra work on
00:24general
00:24hospital the soap opera well the stance teacher contacted the casting agent at general hospital
00:30and said will you take him back we're trying to get him back to california they said yes we'll give
00:35him
00:35more extra work and then they this guy found a place for me to live i did this one night
00:40they told me
00:40you're leaving right now this is your plane ticket you're going your mom doesn't know where you are
00:45no one knows where you are go and that's how it all ended for me a healing process for a
00:51survivor
00:51is lifelong it will go on for the rest of our lives because there are always these little triggers that
00:56pop up everywhere and i think people think that if there's a retribution or revenge sort of like in
01:03the nasser case that he goes to prison that these young women should feel justified but what they're
01:09forgetting is that these young women now have to face a lifetime of healing a lifetime of trying to
01:15forgive themselves for allowing themselves to be in a situation like this and a lifetime of trying to
01:20understand that it wasn't their fault because we all believe it's our fault so it's a constant constant
01:25constant battle
01:26battle
01:26battle
