00:00It hasn't been a great week for Milwaukee, but we wanted to recognize that it has been a great half
00:05again for Milwaukee.
00:07They're one of the best teams in all of baseball, and they do it in so many different ways, Tom.
00:12The one way that they don't do it is home runs, which in this day and age is kind of
00:16crazy to think that they can finish near the bottom,
00:18and they have a chance to be right at the bottom in home runs in the National League.
00:23And, you know, somehow it just doesn't matter which pitcher they call up or what they do, they end up
00:28winning.
00:28I did notice on Saturday, which I thought was significant, that Kyle Harrison had some, I think, forearm issue where
00:35he's going on the injured list,
00:37and I know that he has been so good for them all year, and Mizorowski got scratched from his start,
00:42too.
00:42But when I look at it, Tom, why do I think that the Brewers are just simply going to bring
00:47somebody up from the minors
00:48and they're going to throw six shutout innings against whoever they pitch against next time?
00:51I mean, this is kind of what they do.
00:53Yeah, it is, and, you know, you said it with the Dimebacks, a well-run organization.
00:57I think that's what the Brewers are.
00:59Now, the Brewers have never been a big money spender for, you know, in free agency or at the trade
01:04deadline.
01:05They have a great pitching staff.
01:07I still think they need to sure up something at the bottom portion of their lineup,
01:11and that's when things will really take shape for them.
01:15Because, again, this is about building an NL lineup that can compete with the Dodgers.
01:18So I think their pitching staff can.
01:19I'm not sure the bottom portion of their lineup can.
01:21So they need one or two more pieces, and then they'll truly be in a great spot.
