00:00So, the Brewers are my team in the National League.
00:03I have bet them a ton last year.
00:05I bet them a ton this year.
00:07I have a 12-1 ticket on them to win the World Series.
00:09Now, they've got to get past the Dodgers, right?
00:12It simply comes down to whether or not they can beat the Dodgers.
00:16And here's the thing about this team.
00:19We learned something about their ability to go and beat the Dodgers in L.A.
00:26Miz had his Cy Young moment.
00:29Mizorovsky had it against Shohei Ohtani with the bases loaded and two outs on Saturday.
00:37That was the moment.
00:38It was all about heat against Ohtani, and he struck him out.
00:44Now, it's one at bat.
00:46Mark it down.
00:48Ohtani in the postseason might very well get his revenge.
00:51But Jacob Mizorovsky is the best pitcher in baseball,
00:54and Jacob Mizorovsky is the best pitcher in the National League.
00:57He's going to win the Cy Young.
00:59And so when you have that guy at the top of your rotation,
01:03it is a vital thing when you're going to be a dog going on the road to take on the
01:10two-time
01:11defending World Series champion L.A. Dodgers.
01:14You need to have the best pitcher.
01:16They're going to have the best pitcher.
01:18Ohtani, in my opinion, is not going to start again this year.
01:23He might be a reliever in the postseason.
01:25He might be a closer in the postseason.
01:27Who knows?
01:28But I do not see him being a starting pitcher for the Dodgers in the playoffs.
01:33So you can draw a line.
01:35They need him as a hitter.
01:36Okay?
01:36They are far too inconsistent offensively right now.
01:39They need Ohtani's bat.
01:41So he's going to hit.
01:42I don't think Ohtani is going to pitch.
01:45So you've got the best pitcher.
01:47Number two, what we learned, Logan Henderson is the real deal.
01:53This guy has been tremendous.
01:56And Kyle Harrison also has been really good.
01:59So he, I think, is also a guy that needs to be talked about.
02:02But he has slowed down after a tremendous start to the year.
02:06Logan Henderson has picked up the slack.
02:08And he just beat Scooble.
02:10The Dodgers haven't won a game started by Scooble yet.
02:13Okay?
02:13So they go and get Scooble and everyone's like, oh my gosh, they've got Scooble.
02:17Well, it hasn't worked out all that well for the Dodgers.
02:19They've lost three of four.
02:22Scooble is going to be a major component to this team in the postseason.
02:26But right now, Scooble has not been as dominant as the Dodgers would have liked him to have been.
02:32He's been good, but the offense hasn't helped him.
02:35So yes, Scooble, you want him on your team.
02:39Yes, he could be any day, any start.
02:41He could be an unbelievable, you know, eight-innings shutout baseball.
02:44But the Dodgers' offense right now is not scoring runs for Scooble.
02:48And they didn't over the weekend either.
02:49And that's why they lost the game to Logan Henderson.
02:53Offensively, the Brewers have been one of the most consistent offenses in all of baseball.
02:58And Jake Bowers continues to impress.
03:01The 30-year-old just had a Sunday where he went four for four with a double and two RBIs.
03:06He has raised his OPS to 884, which is now seventh best in the National League.
03:12And you have a lineup that is really, really good top to bottom.
03:17I mean, this is the thing about this lineup when it comes to Jackson Cheerio or Bryce Terang or Andrew
03:22Vaughn or even William Contreras, who is playing better.
03:25However, you've got multiple bats for this Brewers lineup that make it very difficult to go through this lineup one
03:33to nine.
03:33They have a different guy in a different game and a different night that could be the hero for this
03:39roster.
03:40And I think that is so clutch and key when you're trying to beat a team like the Dodgers.
03:45It cannot be just one guy.
03:47You know, it just cannot be Christian Yelich in that you put it all on him.
03:52It can't just be him.
03:53It's got to be one through nine for the Brewers.
