00:00Former UMNO Supreme Council member Puat Zarkashi said PAS paid a heavy price to kill off Bersatu

00:07in the Johor state election after choosing not to help its Perikatan national partner during the campaign.

00:15PAS's biggest achievement, he said, was denying Bersatu any representation in the Johor Assembly,

00:21but the party was also wiped out after losing its only seat, Maharani, to UMNO.

00:47Although PAS urged its supporters to vote for Bersatu national in seats not contested by PN,

00:54Puat dismissed claims that the party helped secure BN's landslide victory.

01:00He said PAS's low vote share showed its supporters had little impact, attributing BN's win to a strong blue wave
