00:00Parti Bersama Malaysia has confirmed that all 15 of its candidates lost their deposits in the Johor election after failing
00:09to secure the minimum 12.5% of the vote.
00:13Party leader Rafizi Ramli said Bersama's candidates polled an average of between 3% and 6% of the total
00:21votes cast, falling short of the party's target of at least 15% in every seat.
00:27He added that early analysis showed a significant shift in votes towards Barisan Nasional across all age groups and ethnic
00:36communities.
00:37The shift, he explained, affected candidates from Pakatan Harapan, Perkatan Nasional, Bersama and Muda alike.
00:45He was confident the campaign experience would help build the 52-day-old party despite the disappointing result.
00:52The party, he said, would study the Johor election results in detail and refine its approach for future elections.
