00:00The Office of Procurement Regulation, or OPR, has received an application seeking a review of EMBD's decision to award a
00:10major security services contract.

00:21under Section 50 of the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property Act.
00:27The challenge relates to EMBD's decision to award the contract for security services in its central zone comprising lands formerly
00:36owned by Kearney 1975 Limited to Swat Estate Police Company Limited.
00:42The contract took effect from July 1st.
00:45The matter has been assigned a case reference number and will now proceed through the review process established under the
00:52procurement legislation.
00:54The Office of Procurement Regulation has advised that further information on the matter is available through its website.
01:01The application marks the latest major procurement dispute before the OPR.
