01:27While also understanding none of us are inside LeBron's brain and this is really hard to do.

01:33And I, I thought this before the, the Draymond golf extravaganza, but it really felt like
01:39this thing was being set up for him to go to Golden State.
01:41And I actually found myself getting kind of excited about it and sort of like a, like
01:45a nostalgia tour vibe way.
01:47And then when Draymond redid and didn't the extension and he's redoing the money so that
01:52it can be a little more team friendly, I just thought, well, that just reeks of, he's going
01:56to bring his buddy to town.
01:57And then we know they love playing with each other.
01:59We know Steph and LeBron, like they had such a good time in the Olympics.
02:02We all watched it happen.
02:03And it, I really did.
02:05And I still, I think do in my heart of hearts think that's going to happen, but man, when
02:10Brian Windhorst of all people comes out and says Cleveland, I'm like, well, that has some
02:15merit to it now.
02:16And it seems a little heavier than most reports from insiders just because of who it is and
02:21how close he is to all of that.
02:22So I'm, I guess I'm down to between those two.
02:27But I'm genuinely tickled that we, we find ourselves in this predicament in his going into
02:32his 24th season that we're doing this again.
02:33It does, it does feel, it does feel like LeBron was like, I have not felt the love for the
02:38last 18 months.
02:40I'm going to get some of that love on this off season.

02:43So there's some speculation on a Cavs Twitter that the Cavs are actually trying to recruit
02:49Draymond here, uh, to Cleveland.
02:51So I will ask you, what is a weirder thing that you're going to have to accept LeBron and
02:56Draymond and Golden State or LeBron and Draymond in Cleveland?
03:00Oh God, in Cleveland for sure.
03:02I will for, because I can't see Draymond as anything but a warrior, whereas we have
03:08seen LeBron in many, many different uniforms.
03:10So to me that my brain is just having an easier time accepting that visual.
03:14Um, I also love that all of a sudden we're like, these are buddies and they go wherever
03:18the other goes, like, this is what we're doing right now.
03:21Um, I actually, I did want to ask you guys though, cause it's one thing for the rest of
03:24us, but how does, how does Cleveland feel about the idea of LeBron's return?
03:30Uh, about 90% that we want, 90% of us want him back and I am 60% confident
03:36he is coming
03:37back.
03:37But I think as a whole, I think if you like, if you pulled people on the street, I think
03:40more people than not would tell you they think with confidence that he's coming back.

03:47And I, I also wondered if you guys were happy with what you had or you, is it the romance
03:52of sort of LeBron coming back and wrapping things up where it all starts?

03:58So I think from my standpoint, cause I was on vacation when that first idea that, you
04:03know, Hey, this actually could be possible came out.
04:05And as I was thinking about it, I stopped thinking about championships and the need to
04:09win one with Donovan.
04:10I stopped thinking about all the other stuff that has kind of weighed down being a Cavs
04:13fan the last like four months.
04:15And I just was like happy at the idea of LeBron finishing his, his story where it started.
04:20And I actually had the thought, I was like, I don't care if he wins a title here.
04:24I just want to, I want to, I want to be a big part of his goodbye to the NBA.
04:27Yeah.
04:28Like Michelle, it's not dependent on the title, but I definitely think there's a lot of people
04:31like myself that you're not winning a title with Donovan Mitchell and what that team was
04:35last year.
04:36You need something else.
04:37And LeBron might just be enough there.

04:40He might've been like, you know, when you're up a thousand points and then you lose the game,
04:43he might've stopped that from happening.
04:44Like I feel like his presence is more than gold.

05:40So we've established the calves, obviously, but are we sleeping too much on the heat?

05:48No, but I just, I feel like, I don't put it this way, my gut.
05:53And I think that's where all of us are now.
05:55We're just kind of going off our gut and our visuals.

06:34So I, I'm always interested to see whether people still think the calves are a top four seed
06:39without LeBron and what adding LeBron would make them, what, what is the difference between
06:45LeBron being here and not in terms of how you see the calves standing in the Eastern
06:49conference?
06:50I do feel like LeBron, um, no, no need to mention the experience, but it's just the mere presence
06:57of him.
06:57And he does have, uh, a very, an overwhelming drive and desire to win and to not be a part
07:04of just sort of, I think what happened with Cleveland was, and I got duped sort of
07:09of the year before, like I was so in on that 26 straight win team.
07:12I was like, this is, this is going to be awesome.
07:14And then the playoffs came and it was, it fizzled.
07:16And then last year we saw what we saw and you just kind of thought to yourself, it's
07:20not necessarily that the, obviously that got great players on that squad.
07:24There's something missing as far as a guide, a captain, the person who's in charge of the
07:28ship when things are starting to fall apart out on the floor and maybe in a huddle, like
07:32he's that guy.
07:34I mean, he's going to, he's going to take over a huddle and he's going to yell at people
07:37and they're going to have to listen.
07:39And I don't know that that exists as is.
07:41So I think that value that he would bring in moments like what we saw last year would
07:46have, I think it would have ended differently, quite frankly.
07:48Um, and I think that opens the eyes of a lot of people and starting with the Knicks, of
07:52course, like, Oh, so this is the, this is a different Cavs team.
07:55And there's an energy now that exists there.
07:58That is a many, many time champion, um, that cannot be overlooked.
08:01I don't care how old he is.
08:03He's still very much a viable part of everything is four years, 273 million.
08:08Is it too much money for Donovan Mitchell?
08:10Like did the Cavs actually have a choice here?

08:13So look, I took an astronomy class in college and honestly had no business being in there
08:18because they start to talk about numbers and miles and light years and speed and your

08:24That's where I am now with these salaries and what's because I keep hearing, well, they don't
08:28have a choice and I, I don't know, unless I'm not understanding how free will work, you
08:32do have a choice.
08:33Like you can, you can, you know, in the case of like Jalen Duren and now Donovan Mitchell,
08:39like you can actually do, there are things you can do.
08:42You can let the market sort of see and dictate what it is.
08:45It's so much money.
08:46We are now in this weird sort of waterfall of how much money is going to exponentially
08:51grow as we keep going.
08:53It's a lot.
08:54I mean, I'm, I'm happy that players get their money.
08:57I don't ever want people to misconstrue what I'm saying is that it's too much for
09:00these guys.
09:00No, get every penny you want, because I want all of us to get as many pennies out of our
09:05employers that we can.
09:08But it's really hard when you're talking about, all right, this is one guy.
09:11We sort of have a pretty good idea of, of kind of the ceiling as far as playoffs and whatnot

09:17And now you've wrapped up all that money.
09:19And then I'm told, well, they don't have a choice.
09:21And I, and I, from the life of me, I don't get that.
09:23You always have a choice.
09:24You may lose them.

09:31Like I've had this argument about like Jalen Dern was the most recent during the playoffs
09:34when he absolutely disappeared.

09:41How do you justify disappearing in the most important part of any season with you deserve
09:47the most money that you can get?

10:27that wedding and I was invited.
10:29So I will ask you what is a bigger flex going to the Kelsey Swift wedding or coming out and
10:37saying you turned down an invite or declined to go to the Kelsey Swift wedding.
10:42So the only one I've, I know of the declining is Charles Barkley.
10:46And I think, I think that one works because the reasons he gave are the reasons any sane
10:53person would give.
10:53It was absolutely going to be a poop show.
10:56Uh, and, and, unless you're really into that, um, you have no interest in it.
11:00And I believe him when he says, I have no interest in that.
11:02I'd rather be golfing and whatnot.
11:03And I think a lot of us would probably say that.
11:06Um, but I do think there's a thousand people invited, man.

11:13If we want to just start there, I, if I go through it and just start naming randos, I've
11:16maybe spoken to once I could reach a thousand, but I think the bigger flex is saying you

11:27because it just seemed like for a 48 hour period, we could not look at our phones because
11:32that's all it was.
11:34And then when the embargo lifted and they were allowed to start posting their pictures,
11:38it was just like, I'm going to put my phone away for two days.
11:40And I think I'm going to be a better person for it.
11:42So I'm going to go with those who didn't go.

15:33That's, I mean, that is, again, we're living in the era of nostalgia, music, movies, what
15:37have you, that does feel very appropriate.
15:42It's going to be a little bit odd.
15:44I do think Kyrie is going to get moved.
15:46I just, I feel like they're going to want to just start fresh and young with their own
15:50team down there.
15:51And so I'm excited.
15:52I'm also excited to see Kyrie just play basketball, to be quite frank.
