00:41Yeah, I was going to ask, what's going through your head as you prepare to take on the Hot
00:44Ones gauntlet?
00:45Are you nervous?

00:50I'm doing this because I love your show, but I love laughing at other people when they
00:55do it.

01:54As an actor, was there a particular joy in playing a character that's sane, that's stable,
02:00that's under control, when everyone else in the room is kind of unraveling and losing
02:04their minds?
02:05She's a great therapist, but she might be the craziest one.
02:09And she doesn't have to play crazy.
02:11It's just like she's complex and so many layers in that woman.
02:15She knows all the theory, and she knows how to press your buttons and how to ask you the
02:20right questions so that you can figure it out.
02:23But at the same time, she's a very complicated woman that is, you know, coming to the neighbor's
02:29house to propose an orgy.
02:33So, I'm not judging her, but it is what it is.
02:37It is specific, peculiar.
02:44But there are so many.
02:45I apologize.

03:49They got it for themselves, and they run, like, hiding in a bathroom.
03:52So, we were very lucky.
03:54We landed safely.
03:56But that was such a crazy bonding experience.
03:59We landed, and they had to put us on another plane, because we were supposed to be shooting
04:04a few hours later.
04:07And, of course, we were late on set, but alive.
04:10And it was really crazy.
04:21I think people lie when they come here.

06:18What would you say is the single biggest difference, if there is one, between a Spanish
06:22and American movie-going audience and what they're looking for out of the very same story?
06:27That was very interesting because it was the same story and the same character, but it
06:32really didn't feel like making the same movie twice.
06:34Both very different worlds, Cameron Crowe, Alejandra Menavar, working in different languages,
06:41different countries, different cultures.
06:44That has been my life almost since I began working as an actress.
06:48The movie needs what it needs.
06:50And when there is a big budget needed, it's for a reason.
06:54But that really doesn't change our process and our work and my work system.
07:00It doesn't really change.
07:06It smells like it's going to be a problem.
07:14And I like the last one.
07:15I think a sweetness up front.

08:29I mean, I would say any film with Almodóvar, all the ones that happen in the city, starting from how
08:36he captures the city during the Movida in the 80s.
08:40Films like Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, the way he photographs the city.
08:46How the people take care of their colorful plants in their films.
08:51And like, even if you have a tiny terrace, no?
08:53And it's like always like one more character in his films.
