00:00In Venezuela, 14 days after the devastating earthquakes on June 24,
00:05numerous buildings and apartments complexes in Tanahuaena neighborhood sustained severe damage
00:10and partial or complete collapses, leaving behind both victims and survivors.
00:17Reno was once an iconic residential area in the La Guara region.
00:21Today, that has changed.
00:24It is now a place marked by sorrow,
00:26with collapsed buildings and survivors who have not yet lost hope of finding their loved ones alive beneath the rubble.
00:33Working against the clock, international search and rescue teams,
00:37in coordination with personnel and agencies of the national government,
00:41continue their relentless efforts in the search for survivors, holding on to the hope of a miracle.
00:48The cooperation has been incredible.
00:50We've worked in an organized, clean and respectful way.
00:54As you can see, this street was completely filled until just a short while ago.
00:59We started removing more rubble,
01:01but we already had heavy machinery clearing it away and trucks hauling away the debris.
01:06This is what we've removed today.
01:08Everyone here has worked with respect.
01:11Every minute counts in the search for survivors,
01:15trapped beneath tons of concrete and steel.
01:17Despite the extensive structural damage and the ongoing risk of further collapses,
01:22as aftershocks continue to strike without warning,
01:26rescue teams remain focused on their mission.
01:29As long as we stay united, we can accomplish any task.
01:32There's strength and unity.
01:35What has stood out the most is the teamwork and the respect shown throughout this operation.
01:40We owe them a great deal of gratitude.
01:42Above all, they've shown tremendous compassion and have treated everyone with respect at all times.
01:47That's truly admirable.
01:50With these images, from Taneguarina, one message is clear.
01:55La Guayra is facing some of its most difficult challenges
01:58due to the loss of human lives and widespread material damage.
02:02The destruction is immeasurable.
02:06But the true value of this moment lies in every life that has been saved
02:10and in those who continue the tireless monumental effort
02:14to rescue survivors from beneath the rubble.
02:19While some survivors are trying to retrieve from their apartments
02:22some essential items so they can spend the night outside or in temporary camps.
