Through the celebration ritual, Djamel Kokene instituted his twenty years of French nationality at the Grand Palais, at the time of La Force de lart, a large scale event devoted to the French art scene. Accompanied by musicians,dancers and a throwing of blue, white and red confetti, the festive ritual wants to bring to light the stakes of the artists identity in its logic of cultural entrenchment.
