This performance is above all an invitation to reflect on the identitarian posture of the artist. Through the celebration ritual, Djamel Kokene instituted his twenty years of French nationality at the Grand Palais, at the time of La Force de lart, a large scale event devoted to the French art scene. Accompanied by musicians,dancers and a throwing of blue, white and red confetti, the festive ritual wants to bring to light the stakes of the artists identity in its logic of cultural entrenchment.
