00:08Uefa has made a strong statement against FIFA following its decision to suspend the one-mart
00:13suspension of American striker Florian Balogun. Uefa argued that when the certainty of rules is
00:19no longer guaranteed by its guardians, the integrity of the game is at stake and the
00:23credibility of a competition is undermined. Equally, such a decision creates a precedent
00:27in the ongoing tournament where similar situations will now require an equal treatment to the
00:33detriment of the competition. And England's victory over Mexico at the Azteca was a bittersweet one
00:38for veteran midfielder Jordan Henderson. The former Liverpool captain broke his arm attempting to jump
00:43over advertising and will miss the rest of the tournament. Senegal's painful exit from the
00:48World Cup only got worse as they were left stranded in Seattle. A dispute between the Senegalese
00:53Ministry of Sports and the Football Federation resulted in the cancellation of their
00:57planned return flight to Dhaka. Players, coaching staff and officials were forced to return
01:02to their hotels as the Federation worked feverishly to arrange a new flight plan.
01:07The people's champion Cape Verde didn't have any issues returning home following their exit
01:12to Argentina as they were given a hero's welcome on July 5th, which happened to be their independence
01:18day. Droves of fans decked in blue sharks uniforms and waving flags sang and danced as they welcome
01:25home home their heroes after a fairytale World Cup campaign. Following Brazil's exit to Norway,
01:31manager Carlo Ancelotti confirmed he will not leave but continue to work and improve. However,
01:36he will not have Neymar at his disposal as the Brazilian star announced his retirement from
01:41international football. Neymar said, I tried, I tried. It started here at MetLife Stadium and finished here.
01:48It's over now. And the Germans have got their man as Jürgen Klopp has agreed to take over as national
01:54coach of Germany. The former Liverpool boss replaces Jürgen Nagelsmann as he aims to restore Germany
02:00and he's been given expanded powers to overhaul the entire national team setup.
