Real Genius ('85) actress Michelle Meyrink may bear a resemblance to Helen Hunt & another actor, actress or group from some movie, TV series, etc. I was not quite sure of.

Connections:
- I thought actor Gabriel Jarret (Mitch) may resemble Hunt's Girls Just Want To Have Fun co-star Sarah Jessica Parker.
- Ed Lauter can be seen in the opening round-table discussion of Real Genius & also acted in Girls Just Want To Have Fun.
- Meyrink played Marcia in Francis Ford Coppola's The Outsiders (1983).
Tom Cruise was in this, Val Kilmer's fighter pilot rival in Top Gun (1986).
Ralph Macchio also acted in The Outsiders. Yuji Okumoto, Daniel's rival in Japan in The Karate Kid Part 2 (1986) plays a student in Real Genius.
- Both Meyrink & Hunt appeared in a film with Nicolas Cage. Hunt was in Coppola's romantic comedy Peggy Sue Got Married ('86) & Meyrink was in Valley Girl in '83 (also directed by Martha Coolidge of Real Genius).
- I thought a big connection between Helen Hunt & Michelle Meyrink may be seen through the Aliens series of sci-fi horror films: Hunt acted with Paul Reiser in NBC TV sitcom Mad About You ('92-'99). Reiser was in James Cameron's Aliens in '86. Sigourney Weaver acted together with William Atherton of Real Genius in Ghostbusters in 1984. Tom Skerritt played pilot mentor Viper in Top Gun with Kilmer & Cruise & was Dallas in Ridley Scott's Alien in 1979.

03:07My YouTube channel is Easter Egg Psychic.
03:09There I go back and look at movies and television from the past.
03:13I analyze these for possible references to future media.
03:16These may appear in the form of anecdotes, idioms, anagrams, hidden in the subtext of the work in question.
03:22I also use an unconventional method where I look at the likenesses of the actors.
03:29And what I've found is you can take the likenesses, match these up to some of the anecdotal items,
03:35and show past, present, and future information about actors and other personalities
03:41that may resemble the personalities in the movie or television episode that you're watching.
03:48My email contact is easteregguy, that's G-U-Y, at yahoo.com.
03:55Thanks for watching.
