01:51Fudge has grown up after fighting Bright on Rakude Mountain and is now the vice commander
01:56of the Dragon Knights and fights alongside the new flame champion in this war.
02:00Bright is now a fully grown dragon and is able to battle alongside Fudge.
02:05Luke is the biggest role switcher of all Suikoden characters.
02:09Where he stood alongside the heroes by order of Leknart, he is now the main antagonist.
02:15Saved early by Leknart from the grip of Harmonia, he is left as supervision.
02:19He wants to destroy his true wind rune to break the never ending cycles of war haunting the
02:25world.
02:26To do so, he searches the other true runes to absorb their power.
02:31In 475, the Grasslands hosted refugee camps while Highlands skirmished around Mew City.
02:37Now in 491, there are peaceful townships and trade caravans.
02:41Examples of them are the Lizard Clan, Kariah Clan and the Duck Clan.
02:45It's a meeting ground for the three heroes including Yuga of Kariah.
02:50No longer besieged, Mew City is now a bustling trade city once again and the daughter of Chef
02:56Bashock, Mami, is on her way as travelling cook.
03:00Bashock is a cook that appeared in the cooking minigame of Hi-Yo and mentioned that Mamie
03:05was sick.
03:06Now cured, she will become the new head chef of your headquarters in Suikoden III.
03:14With the loss of Black in Suikoden I, Fudge has found Bright in a dragon egg in Suikoden II
03:19on Rakuten Mountain.
03:20With his new dragon, he returns home to Goya in the Toron Republic after the Danan Unification

04:09Kingdom.
04:10This happened when Ammonia, Zexan and the Grasslands allied with Highland against the
04:14new alliance.
04:15He is an artificial clone of Vrula Hikusak and is the vessel of a true rune.
04:21Hikusak wants to own all the true runes and put them in clones as one can only carry one
04:26true rune.
04:28Therefore Sasarai and Luke look very much alike as they resemble Hikusak himself.
04:34Sasarai carries the true Earth rune while Luke has a true Wind rune.
04:37Learning of Luke's desire to destroy the true runes, he becomes disillusioned with the ideals
04:43of Hikusak and Ammonia and seeking to stop Luke's path of destruction, he also joins the
04:48Firebringer in this new war alongside Hugo, Chris and Ghetto.
04:54For new players starting in the series, Suikoden Tree was and is a decent entry point.
04:59The first game was released on PS2 and offers a standalone story and by that we mean Suikoden
05:053 ahead of Suikoden 4, 5 and Tactics.
05:09It's enriched with some but not many characters from the past from 1 and 2.
05:14For long time fans there are many easter eggs, notes to the past in the dialogue and some
05:20reused melodies in the music.
05:22Even cross game stories that pay off 16 solar years later in game time, Suikoden 3 has a meaningful
05:29connection to Suikoden 2.
