00:00Yes, the NHS is ready to cope, but it is difficult. It is more difficult to deal
00:06with situations where you've got a heat wave than it is when the temperature is
00:10more normal and I'm getting updated constantly about what's happening in the
00:14NHS. I've got a number of meetings over the next few days and to check the
00:18performance is being maintained during the heat wave and that we're doing
00:21everything we can to keep the service running as it should be. There's no doubt
00:25that heat waves do create difficulties but the NHS is resilient and we'll make
00:28sure that people get the service they need.
