00:00Hi, I'm Milly.
00:01And I'm Louie.
00:01And this is Off The Cuff.
00:03Round one.
00:04Icebreakers.
00:05What is your most recent music discovery?
00:08Samba.
00:08Okay.
00:09Samba and bossa nova.
00:12J'adore.
00:13Yeah, that's good. I'll play you some.
00:14What is the last film you watched that you really enjoyed?
00:16I do love films.
00:18I don't enjoy the act of watching a film.
00:20But when I do, I really do.
00:23Like Up.
00:24The movie Up, I love.
00:25I watched...
00:26What was the last film you watched?
00:27Sing.
00:28There you go.
00:30And I love sing.
00:30What's something you were irrationally afraid of?
00:33Falling down a drain and never being able to get back out.
00:35If you were an art supply, what art supply would you be?
00:38You want to be the paint, the canvas, the hairs on the brush.
00:41Okay, sorry. I thought you said supplier.
00:42I'm the canvas.
00:43I feel like I'm the canvas every day anyway.
00:45What about you?
00:46Oh, no, I'll be the easel,
00:48because I like to think I hold people up.
00:51If you had to get a tattoo,
00:54what would it be and where would you put it?
00:56Okay, we already know you have two,
00:57so can you do like an additional?
00:58Maybe something like here, back of the arm.
01:02And what would it be?
01:02Yeah.
01:03Live, laugh, love.
01:04Oh, beautiful.
01:05What book are you currently reading and what is it about?
01:08I want to say it's called Big Emotions, Small People.
01:12Oh.
01:13It's about tantrums and children.
01:16Oh, nice.
01:17Is that for you?
01:18It's for me, yeah.
01:19Or for the kids?
01:20No, it's for my children.
01:21Okay.
01:22I'm going to teach them how to have a really good tantrum.
01:25Round two, getting personal.
01:27Getting personal.
01:28What's a song from your childhood that you still remember all the lyrics to?
01:31Do you want to go to the seaside?
01:33I'm not trying to say that everybody wants to go.
01:37Really short song by the Kooks and it takes me back to being in the car with the family.
01:42Oh, that's really cute.
01:42What was the first thing you were obsessed with as a kid?
01:45Hannah Montana.
01:46Nice.
01:46What's something you wish you were good at but have no talent for?
01:49Drawing.
01:50Yes.
01:51I'm terrible at that.
01:52Yeah, general drawing and artistry.
01:54If you couldn't be an actor, what else would you do for work?
01:58I would like to work at a care home.
02:01Nice.
02:01If you could go back in time and experience a major cultural event, what would it be?
02:05Ooh.
02:07The fall of Rome.
02:10No, there's so much.
02:11I always think about this.
02:12I just think to spend a day in a different time would be amazing.
02:16Oh, I think to spend a day.
02:17Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:18What is a lie that almost everyone believes at some point in their lives?
02:21Ooh, that's a good question.
02:23Santa's real.
02:24Yeah, but there's...
02:26The Tooth Fairy's real?
02:27No, there's more you can do with that one.
02:29If we were in a horror movie, who do you think would survive to the end?
02:32You, because you'd be the main character and I'm the one that gets killed off.
02:35You're the first, isn't I?
02:36Yeah, but then there's all the pathos going on for me and maybe there's a post-credits scene
02:40where I'm back and it's like, ah.
02:41What is something that you think everyone should experience at least once?
02:45Gosh.
02:47Shave your hair off.
02:48Ooh, that's good.
02:49What's an unsolved case from history that you wish you could solve?
02:52Jack the Ripper.
02:53If you could visit England during any time period, which one would it be?
02:56The 80s.
02:58The way my mum describes, like, going out in the 80s just sounded really fun.
03:01Really?
03:02Round three, Enola Holmes.
03:04What's your favourite Sherlock Holmes mystery?
03:06You're not throwing your cards, are you?
03:08I'm not, no.
03:09I'm polite.
03:10Just putting them at the back.
03:11I made a mess.
03:12What was the question?
03:13What's your favourite Sherlock Holmes mystery?
03:16The case of the missing Marquis.
03:18Of course, about you.
03:19Describe what it's like balancing your roles as an actor and producer when you know the films.
03:24It must be really hard.
03:25It's not hard, but when it comes to other actors, sometimes you just want to make sure that you're
03:29not ever overstepping.
03:30You're letting everybody develop their characters the way they want.
03:33But, obviously, sometimes when you want things to stay on track in terms of plot, you have notes.
03:39Those are things that I discuss with the director.
03:41I hardly ever have notes for an actor because that's not my job.
03:44Because I'm an actor, I like to make sure everybody has their own kind of autonomy and creativity.
03:49Yeah, you do.
03:50What's something memorable that happened behind the scenes?
03:52You got really ill and it was really quite concerning for a while.
03:56I mean, you got very ill and still managed to power through.
03:58How many days did we lose? Just a few maybe?
04:00A week.
04:00It was pretty serious. I got very, very sick.
04:03They're probably looking for like a fun kind of answer.
04:05I know, that was like really serious.
04:07If you and Enola were to have dinner together, where would you go and what would you talk about?
04:11We would go to somewhere very sophisticated, I think, Fort Charles.
04:14What?
04:15Fort Charles, here in New York.
04:17I've never been.
04:18A very small, very intimate, very hard to get into restaurant.
04:23Wow.
04:23And we'd have a burger.
04:25Okay.
04:26How do you feel your character took three years of all from film to film?
04:28He's grown up, you know.
04:31I think he's a bit more sensible.
04:32A bit less of an incomplete.
04:34More of a man.
04:35And he's worked out what he wants to think a bit more.
04:37And that is you.
04:38What was the hardest scene to film in Enola Holmes 3?
04:41Honestly, I would say the first day back from being ill might have been the hardest
04:45just because I really had to recalibrate, get back into the mindset.
04:48Getting back and I was still kind of off my feet in a wheelchair for like quite a bit.
04:53Yeah, you were.
04:53I figured out how to do a wheelie, you know?
04:55Yes.
04:56Yeah.
04:56Louis liked to enjoy my tour when I was standing up.
05:01What is something you'll miss about being on set?
05:03I think we work really well together.
05:05So I'll miss that.
05:07And it was a good crew this time.
05:08Really sweet crew.
05:09Is Enola Holmes 3 going to be the last film in the franchise?
05:13Never say never.
05:15How did that even happen?
05:16I've jumped ahead to round four.
05:17No, this is an important question though.
05:19No.
05:21I can't.
05:22Sit down.
05:24But you listened.
05:25That's so nice.
05:26I'm interested in the question.
05:27I just said.
05:28I think that I've lost track, Louis.
05:31Right.
05:32Next question.
05:33Describe our first day on set together versus our last day.
05:36First day on set.
05:37Gosh, I don't remember that.
05:38I lost a jumper.
05:39Was it in the train?
05:41No.
05:42Rolling down the hill.
05:43Oh, rolling down the hill.
05:44Yeah.
05:45I remember that.
05:45Last day on set, we were in the water, surely?
05:48Yeah.
05:48I was a bit nervous the first day.
05:51Aw.
05:51And it felt like fun.
05:52It was like fun nerves, whatever.
05:54Round four.
05:55Style questions.
05:56Here we go.
05:57This is Vogue after all.
05:58What is your favourite look that you've won throughout the series?
06:01I had a pretty fresh white suit.
06:04Linen, like, canvas kind of suit thing when you first meet me.
06:07It's kind of pretty good.
06:09Describe a Nola style in a few words.
06:12Sophisticated, very detective-esque, but also very effortless when she's just being
06:19herself.
06:20Effortless?
06:21She's very effortless.
06:22Corset?
06:23Effortless?
06:23No, like, when she's dressed down to being who she is when she's in her bloomers.
06:27Very much like this.
06:28Oh, yeah.
06:29She's very effortless.
06:29Low-key, this is what you would wear under a big dress.
06:32All of her stuff.
06:33What's this look from?
06:35I love that.
06:36I love that outfit.
06:37I love this too.
06:38I know what that's from.
06:39That was almost going to be my favourite suit.
06:41But it was a matching three-piece.
06:43It was pretty sweet.
06:44It was Gorgelina Jolie.
06:45Show him the photo.
06:47Lovely work.
06:48Dashing.
06:49You must have been absolutely boiling in that with Malta.
06:52I was.
06:52Alright, what is this from, Millicent?
06:56That's in a Nola.
06:57That's in the third one.
07:02Oh, I love that scene.
07:03What about this?
07:05That is, what does it say?
07:08Johnny Thunders.
07:10Is that of the New York Dolls?
07:12That's from when I played Sid Vicious.
07:15This might be one of my favourite costumes ever.
07:17Leather jacket.
07:18I might have a leopard print.
07:19What is that on there?
07:20Waistcoat underneath.
07:21So, Sid Vicious?
07:22Yeah, something Sid wore.
07:24Yes, that's it.
07:25Oh, it's so cool.
07:26Man, that was sweet.
07:28Had the whole necklace thing going on.
07:30Oh, I thought that was so fun.
07:31That's when you realise costume really changes the way that you behave and move around.
07:36Oh my gosh.
07:37We've got a great one next.
07:41The BAFTA tea party?
07:43You must be young.
07:44Look at that stance.
07:45Very young.
07:46BAFTA tea party?
07:47When I was like 10, 9 or 10.
07:50I can't wait to see the rest of it because you look stood.
07:53Oh, Q.
07:54Was I wrong?
07:55Hand on the hip.
07:56Oh my goodness.
07:57What's your favourite piece of clothing you currently own?
08:00I like these shoes.
08:02Do you get to keep them?
08:04Yeah, now that I've said that.
08:06Lightning round.
08:07Ready?
08:07Jazz or swing?
08:08Swing.
08:08Early riser or night owl?
08:10Night owl.
08:11Fast.
08:12But now with kids, early riser.
08:14Sweet or salty?
08:15Sweet.
08:16Fast or slow?
08:17Fast.
08:18Comedies or mysteries?
08:20Uh, comedies.
08:21Spring or summer?
08:22Spring.
08:23Too much sauce or no sauce at all?
08:25Uh, no sauce at all.
08:27Big action sequences or dialogue driven scenes?
08:30Dialogue driven scenes.
08:32Calling or texting?
08:33Texting.
08:34Original or adaptation?
08:35Original.
08:36Yes or no?
08:37Uh, no.
08:38Always.
08:39This has been Off The Cuff With Votes.
08:41Thank you so much for watching.
08:43Bye bye.
08:44Bye.
