Satellite images show raging wildfires in Utah and Colorado

Satellite imagery shows large plumes of smoke rising from multiple wildfires burning across Utah and Colorado on July 1, 2026. Images from June 26 and June 29 also showed the Babylon, Gold Mountain, Doe Canyon, Feris and Cottonwood fires across both states. According to the US National Weather Service, elevated fire danger is expected to continue through July 3, 2026 supporting the longevity and spread of several large ongoing wildfires.
