Smoke blankets hills as Hawk Fire razes Nevada

Eyewitness video filmed on Saturday (August 22) showed thick smoke shrouding hills behind a Nevada town as firefighting aircraft battled a fast-moving wildfire that threatened about 1,000 homes and prompted evacuation orders, local media reported. The Hawk Fire started at around noon on Saturday and has grown to "approximately 2,500 to 3,000 acres", and evacuation orders have been issued for multiple parts of Reno, according to authorities.
