Although this Luminaries presentation was interrupted by technical streaming difficulties and concludes earlier than intended, it still delivers valuable insights into why Yahowah chose Noach, how Chanowk and Noach are connected, the meaning of Noach's name, why only eight souls survived the Flood, and the significance of tamym in fulfilling Yahowah's instructions completely. The discussion also examines Hebrew word associations, covenant themes, redeployment, spiritual restoration, and why Noach became the pivotal guide through whom the Covenant family and humanity were preserved according to the Towrah.

00:09Today, we're going to keep it simple. I'll bark out a basic command and you watch.
00:16Keen to know? He'll set your tail wagging. Does mine, hence why I'm backing him.
00:24Right then, Wookiee here. Do take a seat, won't you?
00:27Give us your full attention while we listen to my pal, Yadda.
00:37Welcome to our ocean studio as we continue our series in the basics category on the luminaries.
00:45This is a series that's going to take us all the way to Ruth before we're done.
00:50And I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by how interesting that story turns out to be.
00:57We have pursued this account to the point where we find that God has regretted having created humankind.
01:07We were nonplus when we were in the garden.
01:13Adam didn't measure up. He was lethargic.
01:16He was not particularly responsive.
01:18He didn't engage in anything that piqued Yahweh's interest.
01:23And so God realized that this wasn't going to change unless he sent him out of the garden and let
01:31him grow up a little bit.
01:33And that worked out okay because God found someone to care for his son.
01:40That individual was Chinook.
01:42But over time, man became many.
01:47And with many came terrible evil.
01:52That humans, when there are a few of us, we have the potential to be good or bad.
01:58But when there are many of us, like in any religious system or political system, and its power is collectivized,
02:09we are horrible.
02:11And God saw it.
02:12So when humans proliferated on earth and became universally corrupt, Yahweh returned to his fixer to resolve the problem.
02:27He has a go-to guy that is the cleaner.
02:31He is the man that's sent in to resolve the problems.
02:37He was now Nowak.
02:41Previously been Chinook.
02:43Same fella.
02:44Now Nowak.
02:45And this is to say that just as we must trust Yahweh to become his sons and daughter in the
02:52covenant,
02:52At times, God chooses to rely on men and women to make that possible.
03:00In other words, by design, we have become mutually dependent.
03:05Adam on Chinook.
03:08Shem on Nowak.
03:12It's not a series of random names tossed out among a sea of them.
03:18But instead, these are the central cast of God's story, as vital to him as he is essential to us.
03:29When we come to terms with a fallible designer who needs us just as we are reliant on him,
03:37we still must think our way through the other implications of this particular pronouncement.
03:44It means that the man is almost universally bad.
03:51That humankind, when we grow in numbers, become evil.
03:57Considered as an intelligent life form, our potential is typically squandered.
04:02Rather than being an asset, mankind has become a liability.
04:09And the more of us there are, the longer we exist, the worse we humans become.
04:17Therefore, mankind isn't the answer.
04:21Certain men are.
04:24And there are very few of them that actually matter to Yahweh.
04:32It is telling that God isn't interested in resolving many of the problems pursuant to mankind,
04:42particularly his propensity to be evil.
04:45God was not offering humankind an antidote for religious error or a cure for political cruelty.
04:54At this time, his focus was in cleaning up the mess that he had actually made by conceiving humankind
05:04and giving them the ability to replicate, particularly with an asama, a conscience.
05:12In so doing, God is acknowledging that the vast preponderance of people cannot be salvaged.
05:18They can't be saved nor redeemed.
05:21And while these are all extraordinary insights, thoughts that no one has previously pondered until this hearing,
05:30there is a profoundly important moral to this story.
05:35With the population within the cradle of civilization from the Black Sea to the mouth of the Great River,
05:45reaching some 8 million, some 5,000 years ago,
05:52only eight would survive.
05:57This, of course, is one in a million.
06:00They alone demonstrated that men and women properly guided could engage with Yahweh in a productive manner
06:08and earn his respect, prove that an asama man hadn't been a colossal mistake.
06:17And in this way, Yahweh was not only there to set our expectations for how many souls will ultimately survive
06:27when we come into the last days, which were only seven years away at this point.
06:34So we are in the last days, but before we come to the last of the last days,
06:40we have an expectation as to how many ultimately will be preserved
06:49from the 8 billion souls here on Earth.
06:54The maximum number based upon this, as 8 is to 8 million, 8,000 would be to 8 billion.
07:07And it could be much less than that because we're not going to come to an end of events at
07:138 billion
07:14because man's going to be quite vicious in his wars between now and then.
07:20Now, in this regard, it occurred to me that I should share something with you
07:25that I don't think anyone has considered since God presented this in connection to us 5,000 years ago.
07:35The verb that begat the deployment of noach,
07:40and noach is non-cheth, which is the sign of a sperm, which means a son,
07:49and a fence, which is separation, and it's also protection.
07:55So a son who separates and protects.
07:59His nakam is the verb, and nakam would be the same first two letters.
08:08The nun and the ches would be the son who separates and protects with mim, which is water.
08:20The lone distinction between them, of course, is the addition of the mem, water.
08:25The nun, which is son, who cheth separates and protects the covenant family,
08:35preserved them with water.
08:38Nature's source of life and its cleansing solvent.
08:49It's interesting to see the juxtaposition, though, of the name and the verb.
08:56Now, this being the case, rather than focusing on the scope of the flood,
09:01all eyes should have been on noach and his family.
09:05But not one in a billion has ever bothered to consider who noach actually was,
09:14why he was deployed, or what he would accomplish to change the fate of mankind
09:21and protect the planet by making the covenant possible.
09:28Because here is the bottom line to all this.
09:33If not for noach, we wouldn't exist today.
09:39And when Yahweh reached out to noach, they were so familiar with one another.
09:48Noach didn't ask for a sign.
09:52And God didn't ask him to comply.
09:59God simply said, here's what we're going to do.
10:04And noach did as God had said.
10:07And that's extraordinary.
10:09There is no other character anywhere in God's story
10:12where God gives a mission of this consequence.
10:17It was a 40-year build.
10:20To build a ship in the middle of a mountainous region
10:26and a long, long way from any significant body of water.
10:33And noach didn't even ask for a sign.
10:37And God didn't even have to ask noach if he would consider doing it.
10:44They had already worked this out.
10:46They knew each other quite well.
10:50Then in relation to this, nevertheless, it follows that this notwithstanding,
10:56so to make the connection.
10:59Noach, a name which means the restoring guide, leading to spiritual rest.
11:05Noach is a revived explorer, one who directs towards spiritual repose.
11:12It's from noach, the leader and guide, reliably creating an opportunity for a more favorable situation.
11:21And from noach, to provide a place for the spirit to settle and abide, as well as remain.
11:29So noach, he had attained and experienced matzah.
11:36He had discovered and acquired approval, acceptance and favor.
11:42Chin.
11:44In the eyes, in the sight, in the presence, in the understanding.
11:49In the sight, in the sight, in the sight, of Yahweh.
11:55Pretty extraordinary introduction.
12:00So first of all, the name, noach, we're having a really tough time with our focus here.
12:07I don't know what's happened to our stream and upload capability.
12:12But the video, of course, is very jumpy now, freezing and losing its consistency.
12:20I'm going to continue as if the situation will resolve itself.
12:26Because the name and reputation, noach, which is, as I have said, non-chef,
12:33which means that it is a son who separates and protects.
12:44The name means restored guide to explore spiritual serenity.
12:51Now, he shares considerable commonality with Chinook.
12:58Chinook is the first same two letters, reverse order.
13:03The chet and the nun, separating the son, protecting the son.
13:09While the wah and the ka, kef, would convey the idea of, let's put a stake in it.
13:24Let's be certain that we're secure, that we can add to, can complement,
13:31and an open palm.
13:35Now, Chinook's name means trained and deployed as an explorer.
13:41So reading right to left, Chinook begins by saying,
13:48Cheth, protecting the son.
13:50And noach is then, the son protects and separates.
14:00So it's as if, really, you've got Chinook brought to Yahuwah,
14:05because Yahuwah's protecting the son.
14:08And then he turns to Noach, it's the same name,
14:13but it's now the son who is doing the separating and protecting.
14:19He has secured with the wah his father and son's home
14:26by providing a ka'af, a helping hand.
14:34So since matzah, the verb, has attained and experienced favor,
14:42it was conveyed in the completed voice of the perfect conjugation.
14:49We should view it as having previously occurred as opposed to currently ongoing.
14:58This directs us right back to Chinook.
15:00God said of him exactly the same thing he will soon announce about Noach.
15:09Recall that from previous shows?
15:12It says, Noach, or Chinook, let's go to Chinook.
15:16Chinook, a trained and prepared pathfinder,
15:19a dedicated and devoted co-worker who was installed and deployed as an explorer,
15:27was unfazed by external human influences
15:31in his consistent walk through life with the Almighty.
15:38So Chinook, trained and prepared as a pathfinder,
15:42dedicated and devoted co-worker who was installed and deployed
15:45to serve as an explorer, unfazed by external societal influences,
15:51consistently walked, traveling through life with the Almighty.
15:57And then there was nothing of him,
15:59because God grasped hold of him at that moment
16:04and obtained him for a period of time.
16:08That was Barashith, Genesis 5.23 and 24.
16:14So now in this case, Noach, the restored guide leading to spiritual rest,
16:19was also the one individual who was not affected by the corrupting preferences
16:27of those all around him.
16:29We previously deduced that Nassama man had earned a very bad reputation,
16:36a shim for being chalal, deceitful, dishonorable, destructive, and deadly.
16:42And this condition was exacerbated as the population density, Rahab, grew.
16:50Man became Laqash, controlling, and Bashar, animalistic.
16:55The Nephilim, the fallen, were particularly bow, bath, aggressive toward women and girls.
17:06They were prone to be gadoled, emboldened, asserting themselves while picking fights.
17:12This resulted in the propensity to be ra'a, wrong, and miserable,
17:20perpetrating depraved acts.
17:21And all of these things resulting from the fact they became evil.
17:28Humanity's every thought and inclination was ra'a,
17:33undesirable and repugnant.
17:35As a consequence, God was reeling.
17:38He was insulted and felt abused,
17:44regretting that he had created a being prone
17:47to twisting and distorting his original intent.
17:54Under the circumstances with Yahweh wanting to wipe out Nassama man
17:59and just be done with the whole mess,
18:01and with him showing no interest in the other animals, at least initially,
18:05it was Noah alone who stood in the breach.
18:10The restored guide was in this position
18:14because he had previously attained and experienced
18:19Yahweh's approval,
18:21earning acceptance and favor in God's sight.
18:25It is irrefutable proof that my assessment of Chanuk
18:30becoming Noah is actually correct.
18:34He would receive just over 50 years of rest
18:37and additional training prior to being redeployed
18:42in year 1050 Yah.
18:46He had found the way to please our maker,
18:51which is to do as he has asked.
18:57Yahweh's instructions to Noah would be followed to the letter
19:00to save creation.
19:01There would be a fresh start,
19:04something which could be achieved by wiping away the impurities
19:08and starting anew with eight Nassama souls,
19:13humans with a conscience.
19:16To achieve this result,
19:18Noah and his family would build an ark
19:22prior to Yahweh inundating the region
19:26where Nassama man had run amok.
19:31Water has always been the most universal solvent
19:35and the elixir of life,
19:37which is why it would be used on this occasion.
19:41But that wouldn't be the last time
19:45because another deep upwelling of water
19:49will occur on Teruah seven years from now
19:51from beneath the Temple Mount next time.
19:55And it will purge the final remnant
19:59of their guilt,
20:00giving them a new start on life.
20:05In the context of what came before
20:08and what follows,
20:09God wants us to know that
20:11his focus is on delivering individuals
20:14and their families
20:15from the negative consequences
20:17of human malfeasance
20:19and that Noah either chose
20:23or was chosen
20:24to pilot the Teba,
20:27this vessel of understanding,
20:28because he was Sadak,
20:32right
20:32about everything that was important to God.
20:36And should you not yet have bought
20:40into the realization
20:42that Noah is the redeployment of Chinook,
20:48consider this disclosure
20:50replete with the same verb
20:53and unique stem
20:55that distinguished their walks with God.
21:01this adding perspective
21:04is a written accounting
21:07of the proceedings,
21:09the results
21:10and the genealogical record
21:15of Noah,
21:16the restored guide.
21:19Noah,
21:20reliable explorer
21:22and spiritual God
21:23had been a
21:25correctly vindicated
21:27and rededicated man,
21:30an upright
21:31and innocent individual
21:33who was known
21:35to be right

What if the story of Noach reveals far more than the account of a flood? Although this Luminaries presentation was cut short by technical difficulties, it still explores why Yahowah chose Noach, how Chanowk and Noach are connected, why only eight souls survived, and what tamym reveals about completing Yahowah's mission exactly as instructed.
