00:00In Venezuela, national solidarity and unity have been keys in these times of crisis.
00:05This is a case of a group of women volunteers who have been on the ground,
00:09bringing food, water and a little joy to those most in need.
00:17This is the Adolfo Prince Lara Hospital, located in Puerto Cabello, Carabobo State.
00:23Its surroundings have become a temporary camp for relatives of the injured who are being treated at the hospital,
00:28or simply for people left adrift, without a roof to call home.
00:36But there are angels who don't have wings every day people showing up with food, water,
00:41and a sprinkle of hope for those in greatest need.
00:43They are a group of women, operating under the name Light on the Street,
00:47who dream of eventually becoming an official foundation.
00:55We've been helping the people who need it most.
00:58Since day one, we've been on the ground in Tacacas, in Palma Sola.
01:02My sister and I, and all of us here, have been doing this work from the very first moment this
01:08tragedy happened.
01:14For Anayali, there is just one word to describe the Venezuelan people, strong.
01:20We are strong, no matter where we are whether here or in any other country we Venezuelans are always extending
01:27a hand to our fellow brothers and sisters,
01:29and even to those who aren't.
01:31That's what makes us who we are as Venezuelans.
01:35Maria Gabriela, also a volunteer, was handing out coffee the first cup of the day.
01:40And though it may seem like a small gesture, she described it as a first little cup of coffee with
01:45a touch of joy.
01:49A small sip of coffee for these Venezuelans for each and every one of them.
01:54There are so many people who desperately need even the smallest sign of care.
01:59This is truly nothing compared to all that they deserve, all that they really need.
02:06This is the Venezuelan people.
02:12Solidarity, pure, and united WHO, in the midst of this tragedy, do not hesitate to help one another.
02:18Carabobo, Telesur.
