00:00Well it's a 300 billion pound plan over the next four years that sees a 15
00:04billion pound increase in the defence settlement that we received for defence.
00:09That's good because it provides us with more opportunity to have kit and
00:11equipment. We've asked every other government department to reallocate 1p
00:15in the pound from their capital budgets to help pay for that and that provides
00:20two-thirds of the increase with the remainder will be decided upon at the
00:25budget and importantly the big increase in defence spending from 2.7% of GD
00:29P up to that NATO target starting to be laid out in the spending review next year.
