00:00Since we came into power just under two years ago, we've increased defence spending to 2.6%.
00:06That's the biggest sustained increase since the Cold War.
00:09I've made it clear that we need to go further than that.
00:12We've made commitments to NATO and the defence investment plan is being finalised at the moment.
00:18There have been a number of contracts, 1,200 defence contracts have been agreed since we've been in power.
00:24So we do need to finalise the plan, but we have already increased defence spending
00:29because the situation requires us to do so.
