The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ sent a letter inviting Emperor Kisra of Persia to Islam. In arrogance, Kisra tore the letter apart. When the Prophet ﷺ heard of it, he supplicated that Allah would tear apart Kisra's kingdom. Soon afterward, Kisra was killed by his own son, and the mighty Sasanian Empire entered its final decline.
