00:01Well, before anything else, I want to recognize these children for their wonderfully beautiful presentation on Father's Day last week.
00:10Give them a hand!
00:13Can you say something in Tagalog for them, especially for those that weren't here last week?
00:30There you go.
00:33And if you didn't see it or hear it, you can ask them to do it later on.
00:38Maybe for the right price, they might do it.
00:41Alright, well, we have a verse.
00:45I want Guya Johan to put it on the screen first so we can get to it right away.
00:49This is, I will tell you what, this is one of the very first verses I was told to memorize
00:54as a little, little kid.
00:56Alright, and I want us to say it together and to illustrate it also.
01:01So that you can hopefully remember the verse, not just the words, but how to apply it in your life.
01:07So let's read it together.
01:08Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
01:17Ephesians 4 and 32.
01:20So in this church at Ephesus, say Ephesus.
01:25Can you remember when you went to Ephesus?
01:28You don't remember?
01:29We went there in 2024.
01:31Some of you here were there too.
01:32In Turkey, remember when we went to the country of Turkey.
01:35The church at Ephesus, or one of them, or at least the ruins of that church are still there.
01:40This is that exact church that Paul was writing to.
01:43You know that in that church, they had people like fighting and arguing amongst each other.
01:48In fact, there were two ladies that the apostle Paul had to straight up tell them,
01:53you two, stop fighting.
01:55In the very beginning of this chapter, which is what led to Paul saying, be kind to one another.
02:03Now there's one word here that if there's one thing alone that you take away from this is,
02:07I want you to see that word after be kind to one another.
02:10What is the opposite of having a tender heart?
02:17First off, do you know what a tender heart means?
02:20A soft heart, that is correct.
02:23So when you have a soft heart, what is an example of having a soft heart toward people?
02:30Give me an example.
02:32Are you unkind or mean to people when you have a tender heart?
02:35No.
02:37What do you do?
02:38Well, I think it's answered in the rest of this verse.
02:41You're kind to them.
02:43You forgive them.
02:45And if we forget everything else, but remember just one thing, we forgive one another.
02:51Why?
02:51Because the very end says, as God in Christ forgave you.
02:57And so I think that's a lesson we should learn now, when we're young, and especially as we get older
03:04and later in life,
03:05when, let's face it, we have a couple of siblings here.
03:09Who here has a brother or a sister?
03:11Raise your hand.
03:12All of you that's here, yes.
03:14Not everybody that's siblings are here up front.
03:18But the point is, is you are going to have times where you have to forgive one another.
03:24You're going to make each other mad.
03:26You're going to make each other angry.
03:27That's how it is in life.
03:29And in church, in life, and everywhere we go, remember to be kind to one another.
03:35Have a tender or a soft heart.
03:38And forgive one another.
03:40And why?
03:41Because God in Christ forgave you and forgave me.
03:45So I hope you remember that today and every day for the rest of your lives.
03:49Let's hold our hands, bow our heads, close our eyes, and let's pray.
03:52Let's pray.
03:53Father God.
03:54Father God.
03:55Help me.
03:56Help me.
03:56By your Holy Spirit.
03:58By your Holy Spirit.

04:11Like Jesus.
04:12In everything.
04:12In everything.
04:13In his name I pray.
04:14In his name I pray.
04:16Amen.
04:16Amen.
04:17Give them a hand as always.
04:20The fellow teacher who resents.
