00:16Now, I pick, specially handpick today's memory verse for you all to remember what you're about to get yourselves into,
00:25why you're doing it, why it's important, and a verse hopefully that you will remember for the rest of your
00:31life.
00:31Can you put the verse on the screen? And maybe if we do some, some actions with it, I know
00:37the older you get, actions are like, oh, that's so funny, I don't want to do it anymore. But, maybe
00:43this will help you. Let's read the words on the screen first, and then we'll kind of think of the
00:48actions to remember the words.
00:49All together, let's say, you were buried with Christ when you were baptized, and with him, you were raised to
00:58do life. Colossians 2.12.
01:01Now, you were buried with Christ. What's an action that reminds you of being buried?
01:09Buried? Perfect. Now you're, see, great minds think of like, Ali, I was thinking of the same thing too. Yeah,
01:14you've been to a funeral home, or do you see the person that's buried? They're like this, right?
01:19Maybe lean back a little bit. You were buried with Christ. Now, when you were baptized, what is going to
01:25happen when you were baptized? Do you know, I mean, we talked about it a few Sundays ago, like, what
01:30will happen?
01:34You'll be doing something when you, when you're baptized. Like, in the, well, first, where are you going to be
01:42at? In water, right? Yes.
01:44Now, are you just going to be standing there in the water, chilling, doing nothing, just waiting? No.
01:49There you go. Can't see that for the right idea. Yes. Do that.
01:53So, you were buried with Christ when you were baptized, and with him, you were raised.
02:04You can, yeah, you can do it. Can't see that there? You can do it.
02:06You were raised to new life. Colossians 2.12.
