00:00so many of you reached out after my last video that i had to say this one more time

00:03the media has been lying to you about america and the world cup just proved it for years years

00:10european and canadians have been fed the same narrative america is dangerous americans are

00:17ignorant the culture is shallow the food will kill you and people believed it why because they saw it

00:24on the news they read it online they never actually went then the world cup came and millions of people

00:31who had never set foot in the u.s suddenly showed up and you know what they found friendly people

00:37incredible energy stadiums that blew their minds hospitality they didn't even expect video after

00:44video of europeans and canadians saying i had no idea i was completely wrong this is nothing like

00:50what i was told and that's exactly the problem the media doesn't profit from you having a good

00:56experience it profits from fear division outrage a canadian family having the time of their life in

01:04texas doesn't get clicks you know a crime story does so that's all you ever see that's all you ever

01:10hear

01:11and slowly without even realizing it your entire worldwide view gets shaped by people who want you

01:18to be afraid and look in my opinion the world cup didn't just bring football to america it accidentally

01:24broke the most powerful propaganda machine in the world because people finally went and saw it for

01:32themselves so stop letting a screen decide what you think about a place go experience it because i

01:38promise you the truth is always different from what they're selling you 100 100 that has been uh the

01:47biggest eye opener uh for a lot of folks coming from these other countries is that america isn't what

01:54they have been told in their home countries and now they all realize it now they all see that their

02:00mainstream media has been lying to them the entire time and uh it's gonna it's gonna be interesting to

02:09watch this fallout right uh this is just the beginning of it obviously there are a lot of folks who

02:15are still here in america from overseas that haven't gone home yet but then there's some others who

02:20have right and they're sending back videos and social media and so with that even the people who

02:28didn't come to america to see you know the world cup and things uh are getting to see that america

02:37isn't really that bad isn't what you know their mainstream media has been telling them and so now when

02:42they go to their mainstream media and their mainstream media is telling them oh america's

02:46terrible everybody's shooting each other and they're like hold on he was just there for like three

02:52months he said it was absolutely amazing he was sending me videos every single day so you guys are

03:00lying and so now it's breaking that mold uh that that you know that a lot of folks in this

03:06country

03:06unfortunately are still under right the folks on the left who just believe mainstream media

03:12because it's supposed to be the news right they're supposed to tell us the truth well now a lot of

03:18people are going to be woken up so like i said it's going to be interesting to watch the fallout

03:22this and we'll see if if there is any true fallout you guys can let me know in the comments

03:27there will be any uh if you think some of these folks in these countries will wake up and begin

03:32take back their countries because they realize they've been lied to we shall see we shall see but

03:37let's dive more into all of this shall we america is insane you all just walk around with guns shooting

03:44each other it's the most dangerous place everybody's mean the food is terrible everything like just the

03:50complete opposite of what it's actually like here and but they genuinely believe that because that's

03:54what they've been told so people will spend their whole lives avoiding ever coming to america because of

04:01what they think it's like and then once they finally come here they're like oh i've been lied to my

04:06entire life and they actually enjoy it so it's sad that people people will actually miss out on

04:13experiencing what america is like america is yeah it really is it really is um they a lot of that's

04:21pretty great so uh sold a bill of lives and it's unfortunate but due to shout out to the world

04:31that uh smoke screen has been lifted it's been blown away okay and that is beautiful to see

04:38absolutely beautiful to see here's an individual who uh moved to america and realized that uh

04:46yeah it's actually pretty great here so the media portrays america as this dystopian land of guns

04:54greed and mcdonald's but as a canadian that moved here three years ago my experience has been

05:01completely different watching all the world cup tourists absolutely fall in love with america right

05:06now reminds me of how i felt and still feel when i first came here for part of my medical

05:12training

05:12this country just has an abundance of diversity opportunity and kindness that i've honestly never

05:20felt anywhere else i live in la and if you drive 10 miles in any direction you'll be plunged into

05:25a

05:25different totally vibrant subculture and people will genuinely connect with you here beyond just a hello

05:31whether it's the groceries festivals the park staff at grocery store come up to me and ask me is there

05:38anything i can help you find the sheer scale of what you can do here whether it's tech medicine

05:44creative industries is unmatched in america you can basically be whoever you want to be and do

05:49whatever you want to do and not only is that normal but people will actually cheer you on it sounds

05:55cliche but living in america has made me realize how good everyday americans are and how lucky they are

06:01i think america might be one of the greatest if not the greatest countries on earth even if the internet

06:08can't admit it oh it most certainly is the greatest country on earth 100 100 um prove me wrong

06:19prove me wrong are we perfect no of course not uh but it's a lot better than every other place

06:28right are there some and that's not to say that there aren't beautiful places on this earth there are

06:31some absolutely stunning places but overall top to bottom yeah we're the best we're the best top to bottom

06:40top to bottom total package 100 100 let's keep it rolling these are some common misconceptions about

06:49living in america and i'm hearing a lot of them now since i posted a few videos about living here

06:53number one people say our food's really expensive like you wouldn't want to live there everything's

06:58expensive brother everything's relative yeah so like the job you're getting paid 20k for in england

07:04for example you're getting paid 40k here yeah so the incomes are relative to what you're paying don't

07:09get me wrong yes it costs more but i also earn more at the same time second thing health care

07:14people seem

07:14to think that the health care here is awful yes you have to pay monthly for it but in england

07:20you kind

07:21of do that anyway because it comes out your tax like the nhs is paid for through tax money

07:25that's not the case here you literally pay for it monthly and you can pick your plan don't get me

07:30wrong they do sting you on some of the plans and yes it is expensive don't get me wrong i

07:34do love the

07:35nhs but the health care is amazing i tore my meniscus bro same day went to the doctors they brought

07:42x-ray machine to me in the doctors scanned me put me in a leg brace and came back two

07:47weeks for a

07:48follow-up cost me 50 on my copay yes i pay monthly but a lot of businesses contribute towards that

07:55as

07:55well so it's not as much as people think third thing work-life balance people think there's no

07:59work-life balance bro i don't know where you're hearing this information don't get me wrong if

08:03you don't earn a lot of money people do work two jobs yes that's common here if you move here

08:08you're

08:09most likely moving for a business you're most likely going to have a nine to five yeah so you do

08:14have

08:15a work-life balance the difference is it's not pissing it down with gray skies when you leave

08:18work it's sunny like bro look at this i'm literally sat here filming this look how nice it is this

08:24tree blue skies clouds that is the difference there's way more to do after work i can go and be

08:30outside i can go and get a tan by the pool you can't do that in england fourth thing is

08:35people seem to think that everyone is obsessed and yes some people are into politics it's the same in

08:41england it's the exact same here just if you don't watch the news you won't notice it do you notice

08:48in england on a day-to-day basis what they're doing without watching the news no you're still paying the

08:53same for bread you're still paying the same for milk your rent price doesn't change on the daily

08:57it's the same here don't let the news warp your mind pros and cons to both i love manchester where

09:05from it will always be home to me i love it there yeah but when you're young take the opportunity

09:11go and live somewhere else maybe it's not america for you it was for me and i'm very grateful that

09:17was for me i can be on a flight and in 45 minutes be in la in three hours i

09:22can be in miami i can go to

09:24new york in four hours that's what i wanted in my life so i worked and made that happen for

09:29for you it might be spain italy france wherever it may be yeah take the leap while you can enjoy

09:35your life make the most of it while you're young these are some great advice great advice

09:41go experience some things and maybe you'll realize that you know what

09:46i have a place over there in america you know

09:51it ain't what the media told me it was and he was right you know you could hop on a

09:56flight be in new

09:57york be in la or be in miami like like that i mean three major cities um you know unfortunately

10:06kind of hmm right but still three major cities like that in the blink of an eye um we're blessed

10:20we're truly blessed truly blessed to wake up in america i'm currently walking around dc and i've been

10:25reflecting a bit on the last 10 days i've had spent in america and i just want to say that

10:30you've got it right as a fan who's been experiencing things so far here at the world cup on the

10:34ground

10:34i have nothing but positive things to say so far in terms of the way that they've organized it i

10:39mean

10:39obviously there were concerns leading up to the tournament but i think america's done a great job

10:43so far apart from the fact that the football's been amazing i think every city has played this part

10:47in welcoming people to the country i think america's shown its best side and that's the people

10:52in terms of organization the transportation has been great considering they don't have the same

10:56infrastructure as asia or europe i mean getting around to and from games has been easy safety

11:01wise it's been great you know you feel protected and welcome not afraid of law enforcement so they've

11:05done a great job in making people feel like there's not going to be any danger at this world cup

11:09there's been people in the cities that have voluntarily helped me personally i mean there's been times when

11:13i've not been able to get to certain places and people have nudged me in the right direction

11:17so i think it shows that people are willing to help here cost of living here hasn't actually been

11:21too bad day to day i mean i was expecting to be tipping like 20 or something crazy but i

11:26mean

11:26people obviously know that it's not the culture back in europe and i've just been tipping people

11:30here and there that deserve it you know so i think they haven't pushed people to be adding on extra

11:35expenditure during the tournament but most importantly there's just been a great atmosphere

11:39around the country i mean i've met the most friendly people around the u.s not just from america but

11:44from all over the world from the cape verdians to the people from curacao to the moroccans to the

11:48ghanaans to the europeans to the asians i made friends with people from countries i never thought

11:53i would so it's been an experience i'll never forget so far thanks to america everyone's having a great

11:58time and i also think it shows why the world cup is the greatest show on earth because in a

12:02world full

12:03of diversity the world cup brings unity to everyone

12:08you know i i think we should always host the world cup you know me personally i think we should

12:14always host it here i mean what what better place right what better place um we we have so much

12:21space

12:22right uh you could you could be playing a major game in la a major game in miami another major

12:28game

12:28in new york major game uh uh in houston you know and everywhere in between massive massive games

12:36that that you pack the stadiums we that's another thing we also already have the stadiums to

12:42accommodate these individuals we got massive football stadiums everywhere everywhere uh including

12:49you know especially like in a place like texas some high school stadiums could probably accommodate

12:55uh some of these games so yeah and it's not once again it's not like we have any rundown uh

13:03or too

13:04many rundown stadiums we have super super nice stadiums like the cowboys stadium i believe the

13:09raiders just built a new state just built a new stadium in vegas so we have some amazing amazing

13:16structures to host these games and so you know yeah i think we should always host it personally i don't

13:23know how the world cup works but as far as that goes but uh yeah we should always have it

13:30should always have it here but it is great to see that people are waking up and realizing that they

13:37have been lied to their entire lives by their media and so when they go back home to their home

13:42countries um like i said it's gonna be interesting to see the fallout uh get in the comments let me
