00:00Who's a player that has surprised you that you were out on to start the year?
00:04Who was a player that you were avoiding drafting but has actually been, you know, a pleasant surprise for you?
00:09I'd have to go with Pete Crow Armstrong.
00:11I, you know, I didn't really, because of last year's second half, he had fallen off pretty badly after his
00:18really good first half.
00:19And I thought the league caught up with him.
00:21But as we see with most great hitters, he, the league caught up to him, but then he caught up
00:26to the pitchers again.
00:26So he struggled out of the gate in April, but then he really started to come on in May.
00:31And June, he's been probably the player of the month for the NL in June.
00:38He's, I mean, he's just been fantastic.
00:40And, you know, thankfully, I, you know, I happen to have him in a keeper league because I just had
00:46him for such a cheap price.
00:47But I was completely out on Pete Crow Armstrong, much to my chagrin for most of my leagues.
00:53Yeah.
00:54Well, I would tell you this, Gray, if anybody could predict the weeks that Pete Crow Armstrong goes off, they'd
00:59be very rich.
01:00Because the season is the end of March, April, May, and June.
01:04And, Gray, the dude has had three good weeks, but they've just been incredible.
01:08Like, they've been amazing and incredible.
01:10The rest of the season's been a dud.
01:12Yeah, no, completely.
01:14He's really been the prototypical hot, cold player.
01:18But when he's hot, he's absolutely hot.
01:21Yeah, he has.
01:23Dansby Swanson, by the way, drove in 11 runs for the Cubs early this week.
